I work for Penguin Insurance and we had Jimmy come in for our IT solutions after we had tried several other companies. Jimmy has been extremely helpful not only fixing our issues but also explaining what he was doing and what needed to be done moving forward. The last company we hired overcharged us for the work he actually did, argued with us when we told him the work he did not fix our problem, then proceeded to charge for a newer model piece of hardware than they installed. What a pleasant surprise JT Solutions was. Overall great service and the work speaks for itself.

I didn’t understand how a business could have all 5 stars until I brought my IMac here!
My hard drive ended up failing and so I brought it to these guys. Bobby is who worked with me from start to finish. What an amazing small business. My estimate that I was quoted was within 20 dollars of the actual cost!
These guys are amazing and will be my IT guys from now on!!! Really great company and they have really earned their reviews!

Internet connection was dropping in my laptop. He diagnosed for a day and told me nothing wrong with the laptop, may be problem with the router. Later I figured out– it was router problem. He didn’t even charged me for that. I would recommend JT solutions! You have to try it.

I’ve been using Jimmy Tran for the last year and have been very happy with his service for my busy office.

I knew what was wrong with my laptop: the fan had spit the bit, seizing up and letting components overheat. I also knew my abilities when it came to disassembling and reassembling laptops: poor at best. I just needed someone competent to wrangle with things on my behalf, get things back in good working order.
JT Solutions did admirably on this front. The quote was about as expected — «like $X for parts and $Y for labor», something along those lines. «It’ll probably take four business days for the part to come in.» So I left my laptop with them… and waited four business days… and got a phone call, letting me know everything was right as rain once more, for precisely the amount quoted. And it was! I am penning this review from that very same laptop, brought back from the brink.
No pesky up-​sells of things I’d never need. No pushing for installations of certain softwares because it’d give someone somewhere a kickback. No covertly-​tacked on service fees. Just a straight-​up request for things to get all patched up and finding everything all patched up upon the equipment’s return. That’s great! Totally coming back here if my computing hardware goes off the rails again.

Best IT solution I’ve discovered! All the other ones I’ve found were not as prompt, and friendly as Jimmy was. He did a great job on revamping our old internal network and got the job done. Even with slight hiccups in the set up due to hardware and software compatibility (not his fault), he stuck through it and got it done properly. I will highly recommend him from any IT consultation you need.

About 6 months ago, I took my laptop to JTS.
It was not starting up properly; and I was flying out the next day.
Jimmy and Jacob, resolved my problem, in a timely manner.
They installed the software, and saved me from a disaster.
Yesterday, (6 months later), I took another laptop — as it was refusing to start up.
Jimmy was getting ready to go home, and he said he would look at it at home, and let me know.
15 min. later, he called me, and said it was ready for pick up.
Yes, it was done!
And guess what. he said «no charge»!!
Wow!!! These days you rarely hear such things…

Thank you Jacob @ JT Solutions for install a new 1 TB HDD into my Sony Vaio Laptop. You where very patient & deligent in clean all the viruses .You did an excellent job. Jacob is very helpful to upgrade SSD and Ram for the HP folio I13 ultrabook. The 256GB SSD is not so easy to find in market places. He quickly help me to find it and replace it within two hours. The first attempt showed some minor problem, but he quickly find a solution and fix the problem within the same date.
These people are very professional, and Highly recommended!

Before I start, I want to give kudos to Jimmy (the owner of JT solutions) for his helpfulness, clarity, and professionalism.
I came here just a few days ago to fix two laptops. After Jimmy’s initial consultation, he hypothesized that both computers had something wrong with the hard drive, though he was clear in telling me that the issues could still be linked to other parts of the computer.
I dropped both of them off, and he approximated that the first computer would cost up to 225.00 to fix and the second, 200.00. He also assured me that because he wasn’t going to be in this office, one of his employees would get back to me around 2:00 pm. Also, I appreciated the fact that he waived the 50.00 diagnostic fee because he figured that the issues wouldn’t be too difficult.
So, 2:00. One of Jimmy’s guys calls me and his suggestions were as follows: «For the first computer, we need to reinstall stuff because of memory issues.» Cool. Price? About spot on. Second computer… didn’t know what the heck he was talking about. I mean, I appreciate that he called me right on time, but there was no diagnostics procedure as far as I knew. Then, I asked again about the first computer. «You do realize that this one had impact damage and Jimmy said hardware would most likely have to be replaced, right?» Guy tells me to hold for five minutes. Comes back and tells me (I kid you not), «Yes, that too.» So naturally I ask, «Wait, so there’s more… for sure?» And he rambled about some tech info and why he suggests doing both completely pretending to neglect the fact that I just told him what the problem was.
So in conclusion… his advice, «Yeah, uh… do the re-​installation and replace the hard drive.» Why did I have to throw that on there? It should have been documented already. He was also thorough in mentioning that the only way I’d get a refund is if I buy the hard drive, get it installed, and also purchase the OS. New total? Almost double.
At that point, I just asked to pick both of the laptops up. I reminded him there was no diagnostics fee, and he complied but was hesitant, indicating perhaps that he wasn’t even aware of Jimmy’s promise. Holy communication meltdown, Bats.
Ultimately, I’m just irate because the employee pulled me along on a string. Fail diagnosis, and fail service.

How can you have a business with all five-​stars review, not to mention an IT business when it is so frustrating to deal with computer issues to begin with! Because you have Jimmy!
We are a small business who have a monthly service contract with Jimmy. We have been using him for two months and he delivers again and again! He is very honest and on top of issues. Very responsive when we have problems.
He is a true IT expert, never thought your question or problem is stupid.
We hope to use him long term as an IT support for our business.

I found this place on Unilocal when searching up «laptop repairs»…Came in recently with a cracked HP laptop. Jimmy was very kind. Gave me his estimated price, told me the estimated time, and all came out well. Very proffessional, easy to contact (gives business card with email/​cellphone), VERY reasonable price, overall a pleasant experience. THANKS JIMMY!!!

I had an issue with my 2008 Mac Pro not booting up. I suspected it was the NVIDIA chip causing the issue but Apple loves not fixing known issues. The extended warranty that they had for «known problem» expired on Dec 2012. Not wanting to deal with the so-​called «geniuses» at the apple store, I sent my sad Mac to someone for repair. The repair place I sent my Mac to said that the issue was the logic board and that they didn’t work on them because of the high failure rate. Sucks to be me.
I found JT Solutions on Unilocal and read all the great reviews. Granted, the last repair place I sent my mac to also had 5 stars but they didn’t fix my problem. JT Solutions however, pulled through. Jimmy was very professional and honest. He talked me through repair options and what I could expect. The fan was giving me issues when I got it back but he took a look at it again and it’s working perfectly now.
I couldn’t be more relieved and happy with the work he’s done. Thanks again Jimmy!

I googled computer repair and clicked on JT solutions. After reading some of the rave reviews I decided to make an appointment. Ive been so stressed out not being able to work from my computer and I took it to everyone who said they knew about computers but no one was able to fix it. I took it to JT solutions and within 24 hours he had back up and running. No problems, fair Rates. Very nice man and professional. He did an awesome job.

Professional Care and Conduct. Very thorough in walking me through the repair. Where others wouldnt touch my hard drive damage, because it wasnt worth their time to diagnose. Jimmy took a chance on it and gave me a free diagnostic and if he couldnt fix it, there would be no fee other than the replacement logic board. In the end, it was beyond repair. Jimmy offered to keep the board and pay for it. I gave him money for his time, anyways. But it was a very kind gesture on his part. I would definitely come back for other repairs.
Support a local, skip geek squad or big repair shops.

With the dependency on technology that we all have today, your life can seriously be turned upside DOWN when you have computer issues. Being in the valley, you have so many options, consultants, geek squads etc, it’s hard to pick someone who is:
1) Reliable
2) Not some money-​guzzling scam where they basically take you for every penny
3) Someone that you know other people highly recommend
4) Above all… COMPETENT
Look no further people, Jimmy is there! His professionalism and reliability is a godsend. I’m no novice to technology but when it comes to system config changes, email problems, and anything super super technical that I have no idea about… I go to Jimmy. He is the best! Don’t bother going to those Costco-​style tech agencies with techs who basically have no idea what they’re doing and will spout out some über techy words to make YOU feel dumb. Jimmy is efficient, responsive, and dedicated. Just look at all the other rave reviews!
Finding a good IT guy is like finding a good mechanic. You have no idea WTH is wrong but you just want it fixed, to stay fixed, and not go broke over it. Enough said… JT Computer Repair.

Finding a computer technician is like looking for an auto mechanic. Not sure who to trust and if you’re in good hands.
I don’t know anything about computers and didn’t want to deal with the big guys so I got on Unilocal and found JT Computer Repair. I gave the guy a call and he sounded pretty decent on the phone. I explained what seemed to be the problem and he quoted me based on my explanation. I told him I would call him back as I wasn’t sure if I was getting a good deal. I conferred with my IT experts at work and they all said the quote was reasonable. I finally met up with Jimmy and I knew I could trust him based on his demeanor.
What I liked about this whole experience was that my computer issue was really minor and he could’ve lied to me but he chose not to. He only charged me for one hour of labor and the replacement battery. 5 stars for honesty and quick turnaround!
