Nithyananda Vedic Temple

This temple has been one of the best things that has happened in my life.
I have moved on average every 4 years of my life, and each time was equally challenging and difficult. This temple and the community here at the temple literally made me feel at home the first week I moved to the South Bay. All of a sudden, I had a family, all of a sudden I had a beautiful spiritual community in my life, surrounded by beautiful people who all have living enlightenment as a top priority in their lives. If there is one thing that has proven true to me again and again, it is the people you surround yourself with have such a profound impact on you and your life, often without you even knowing it.
Apart from sangha, this Temple has taught me so much about the Vedic Tradition. Before this temple, so many of the dimensions of Hinduism were so foreign to me. This temple has made so many aspects of the Vedic Tradition come alive for me! I have been able to celebrate all the wonderful holidays on the Vedic calender, every time learning more about Ganesha, Lakshmi, Subrahmanya, Lord Shiva, Devi, Krishna, Ma Kali, Lord Vishnu! If you asked me a year back, I would have been clueless as to the meaning of these Gods, and the significance of worshiping their murtis. I am eternally grateful to this Temple for teaching me, and allowing me to LIVE the vedic tradition, not just learn about it.
Lastly, this temple has really taught me so much about the art of seva. Volunteering here has taught me so much about humility, acceptance, what it means to take responsibility, what it means to have your actions and words be aligned.
This temple is the second best thing that has happened to me in my life, second only to the founder of the temple H.H. Paramahamsa Nithyananda. To both I am eternally grateful and in debt.
