I ordered the beef stew based on what it showed on the photo, but what I got is not the same amount of beef you will get, smaller pieces and only 1⁄3 amount of meat the photo shows, their photos are misled, not recommended.

If you are in a hurry to get some serious shopping done or just need a quick fix this is the place for Asian food. It’s as good as it gets for Asian here. I’ve eaten at each stall in the food court and quick woks fried rice, stir fry dished pad Thai and phở and cheapie prices makes this a hidden gem! A mall employee told me to try this place and its the best in the food court. I hate fried won’t eat it any where else but here. There’s so much flavor. It’s an entrée in to itself. Huge portions for under 10 bucks and the daily special is an epic value under 5 !!! You can get fresh veggies and meat cooked to order. And as the names says very quickly.

One of the better places in the food court. The food is cooked fresh when you order it. service is OK, there is usually a bit of a wait because they have to cook each order.

I come to Great Mall for two reasons. 1. Phở from Quick Wok 2. Daiso The phở here is my absolute favorite.

Despite being«quick» the owner, David, can cook a mean pad Thai! This is surprising considering most of the menu is Vietnamese. The pad thai, iced tea and iced coffee, and fried chicken with fried rice seem to be the only Thai dishes on the menu. The rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful.

For mall food, this place is the bee’s knees! First of all, ALL food is made to order! That includes the blanched veggies that could have been steamed hours prior and left sitting out — nope, fresh! You can even watch them cook your food over a massive flame, expertly flicking the wok to get that highly coveted wok flavor into your food. You would also think that cook-to-order food takes a while — nope! They pipeline their work, usually with a bunch of people prepping each different piece before maestro tosses it all together. I usually order the beef chow fun and it comes out piping hot and super flavorful! They really do care about their service. The other day, I requested iced tea even though they only have hot tea(also made to order from a tea bag). The lovely ladies essentially seeped the tea and made me a fresh iced tea that was honestly way better than the soda fountain Nestea that I was looking for.

Love the pad thai delish(big portion & super quick). My baby girl & I love their chicken chow mein delish(add an egg $ 1). My mom usually orders the beef ball ho fun noodle soup & even if she ordered before me separately & before me I always get my pad Thai or chicken chow mein before her hehe. Ordered bf pad see new for bf(kept the broccoli) & he enjoyed it. Overall yummy, big proportions, affordable prices & nice ppl. * p. s. I usually order our noodles from here without onions, garlic, bean sprouts, or cilantro or veggies).

Made fresh to order, not like other fast food places inside the food court. Ordered fried rice and it had a nice wok flavor to it.

I’ve been coming here for years now and have been very loyal to the shrimp and broccoli dish. I admit that at times it is a hit and miss with the dish but I have tried the other foods in the other restaurants in Great Mall and found this to be the best. They have other choices that are good as well such as their pad thai. I also always order their iced thai tea. So yeah, it is not that consistent with presenting a good dish, but their worst is still better than the other places best. So try this place out if you haven’t already.

I was so surprised that a mall food court would have a PHO joint that I decided to get it after briefly glancing at the menu. Of course, I had really low expectations and well, the expectations were met. The phở broth is rather bland but they give you hot sauce and oyster sauce. If you throw those two sauces in the soup the broth is okay. They do give you a lot of noodles which is nice. However, they give you a lemon wedge instead of a lime. Is this to save money? Is this out of ignorance? From what I see with good phở places, phở broths are meant to be paired with lime juice, so I don’t really understand their logic here.

My first time here, with my daughter, after an afternoon of shopping. First impression — the broth is a bit bland. Not at all like the other phở places I frequent. And then I caught myself — I’m eating phở in the food court in the Great Mall, for crying out loud. What did I expect? Given the setting, it was actually pretty good phở, and there was plenty of meat. One of the better food court experiences I’ve had. The lady behind the counter is pretty nice, too.

I’m always happy with my food but I wish the prices were lower… buuuut they do give u a lot of food. …compared to the rest of the food court there definitely should be at least two dollar signs on here

I wanted to believe. I really did. Working in the Great Mall, I’m constantly exposed to the food court during my lunch breaks. I always, always pass by Great Wok and its gigantic phở advertisement, but I’m never sucked in. Until this time. For some inexplicable reason, I decided to give it a chance. I ordered the vermicelli dish with pork and egg rolls, but the lady taking my order suddenly looked very sad and informed me that they had run out of vermicelli for the day(it was about 7:00 P.M. on a Wednesday). Welp. So, I just substituted the vermicelli for rice. I also asked for a water, which I never received.(Sigh!) Anyways, I get the dish, and what can I say? It was pretty sub-par and lacking in flavor. The pork was pretty dry, and the rice definitely lacked the intensity needed to make up for it. The veggies I got were boiled nothingness and contributed nothing but space to the dish. Plus, I really missed the water. I recommend Cajun Grill, in all honesty, if you’re going to eat at the food court. Ate there many times and was always pleased.

This place makes really good wok dishes, though sometimes the egg is a bit burnt. Just like Americans would when they cook food on a cast iron skillet, the flavor from the wok is tasted in the food and you can taste that ageness from years of use. If possible try to get the Asian chef(s)/cook(s) to make your dish. The other one(s) for some reason makes it different; it’s still good but it’s just not the same. I/we wait for him/them to come back from lunch/break sometimes(because we have time to. If you don’t, don’t). I don’t really care for the spring rolls, but if you’ve been already ordering it or want to try it out, go for it.

Every SINGLE time I go to the Great Mall food court. I just get HELLA stuck. I get stuck on what I want to eat. McDonald’s is not an option. This is mall food peeps… So to some, the food might not be all that but… The only reason why I’m reviewing is because(today) I actually LOVED the #17 Grilled salmon and veggies over rice.($ 8.49) For added sunny side up eggs… $ 1.00. If you ask for fried rice instead, it’s an extra 2 bucks which I HIGHLY recommend!!! It kind of reminds me of JenJon Cafes Grilled salmon. The meal was super delicious. I shared one plate with my mom and it was enough for both of us. I also bought fresh coconut juice for $ 2.49. It has big whole prices of real coconut in it. The coconut pieces were really good. I also got fried battered shrimp.(6 pieces) IMO… Not as good as Panda Express’ fried shrimp! I have tried the seafood soup(phở)here a few months back and blahhhhh… No bueno!!! If The next time I go to Great Mall and I find myself undecided on what to eat… I’ll head down to Quick Wok and order that #17.

This really isn’t a Vietnamese food joint, they just added 2 – 3 different items and added Phở to the menu and call it a Vietnamese Cusine… This use to be a Thai Place and all the items they had before are still on the menu and they are damn good!!! They still have Thai iced tea, which is a must when you come here with the ladies(they love it)…They really have good pad thai here for a strip mall joint. I usually get #7: Pad Thai Noodles with Tofu and I must confess that I have been to some high end Thai places in San Jose and paid anywhere from $ 8 – 12 for pad thai… Quick Wok ‘s Pad Thai is only $ 6.75…they cook everything fresh as you see the cook doing work on the stir fry pot, the lines usually aren’t long, and they are very generous with their servings! So before you shop till you drop on your next Great Mall visit, swing by the food court and peep this place out yo!?!

Disclaimer: This review is just for the phở. What was I thinking? Being Vietnamese, I should know better than to eat Vietnamese food from the mall food court. Story: Got really drunk at DnBs. Ventured to the food court to rehydrate and get some food. Phở?! Sounds awesome! Ordered House Special Phở(aka Dac Biet) for $ 6.69. Verdict: noodles are super soft and soggy. Some of the meats taste and smell funny. Veggies are few and browned. Broth is bland. I was drunk, but even I can tell that this phở is a thumbs down…
