Saso High School Prep

My daughter got accepted with honours after prepping at Saso. Steve and team is just amazing. They know exactly what they are doing. If your child is willing to work with them you will nothing but awesome results. Highly Recommended!!!

To anyone considering Saso High School Prep, I can not give any higher recommendation. When we were considering a private High School, it was a whole different world to consider. I never knew that the HSPT was so paramount in the direction that an entering freshman would undertake. Steve gave our daughter a diagnostic test, and determined the areas she would be able to improve in. I signer her up for the five Saturday class and each week her scores improved. I also signed her up for the review so that she could consolidate her techniques. Each week Steve and his assistant were able to give her the necessary guidance to improve her scores. Steve’s prepared material and lessons were very organized and focused. On the day my daughter took the HSPT, she knew completely what to expect which helped her exceed in both realms of verbal and mathematics. She received very high scores, and ended up getting placed in honors Mathematics, honors English, and honors Science. Because of her placements she is well on track to succeed not only throughout the rest of her High School years, but also to college, and on beyond into her career. I found the value in Steve’s courses for what I invested to be completely worth it. Three cheers for Saso High School Prep!!!

I enrolled my 13 year old son in Saso’s HSPT prep course the last week. Given this was over the Christmas holiday vacation, my son’s initial reaction was as you’d expect; «not thrilled» would be a gentle way of describing it. But, after the first day in Saso’s class my son came home saying he thought it was worth the time. As importantly, my son then was much more willing to do practice exercises. The class seems to offer the right dose of encouragement and gentle prodding, to motivate kids to work harder. While the test is not for several weeks, I feel as tough I did the right thing as a parent to give my son the opportunity to do better with expert guidance. In addition, I would recommend the Grammar notebook for extra practice. Even if there was no HSPT, the grammar and punctuation worksheets have utility on their own and I think will improve my son’s writing. I was going to also purchase the Math book, but Saso discourged that, since my son’s math scores were high. I thought this demonstrated integrity, to not have me buy something that I didn’t really need just to make a sale.

I highly recommend the Saso HSPT prep course. While my son did not «love» spending his Friday afternoon in the fall studying for thsi test, he would tell you that one the day of his test he was relaxed and well prepared, he walked in to the testing room full of confidence. Our one regret is that we didn’t have him take the Algebra Advacned Placement class that Saso offers. He was getting an A in Algebra in 8^th grade and thought he «knew it all». He came out of the advanced placmeent test somewhat stunned at how much he did not know and missed advancing to Geometry by 2 points…

Both my son and daughter took the Saso High School Prep — and both made it into the high school of their choice! Fabulous teachers… Great preparation for the students… even my daughter who has dyslexia and ADHD said she could not have done it without the help this course gave her! Highly recommend it!
