Milton location closed. Lease ran up and they chose not renew per the big sign on their door. Too bad. i won’t be schlepping up to canton which is what they suggested. Too bad they lost us as a customer

Wow of menchies, brain freeze, and slim berry, brain freeze is by far the best! With adult toppings like melted ghiradelli dark chocolate with espresso beans, yes please.

Atmosphere was great. More of an at home feel opposed to the other freezing industrial looking shops. I went with the Boston cream pie with triple chocolate yogurt topped with Oreos and nutter butters.

We tried to go there today but the girl working the counter was so busy she couldn’t help us. Most serve yourself yogurt joints let you get your own samples to try, but not here, she very impatiently told us which do you want and that she had to get the sample, but wait, she didn’t have time to do this!!! WTH!!! We just walked out! Now she can wait on someone else, or just stand around. This was a Wednesday afternoon… what do they do on the weekends??? Because of her we will not be back!

I’ve tried a lot of the other places, but Brain Freeze by far is my favorite. They don’t have as many flavors as some of the other ones, but the flavors they do have are great and not too sweet. My latest try was the coconut. Great flavor and left me wishing I had gotten more. The only downside is the location. It’s hidden away behind some of the surrounding buildings, so if you’re not careful you’ll miss it.

Uh oh… their Orange Cream flavor is fabulous! Now I want some every time it gets warm outside. The No Sugar Added Chocolate is also great — you’d never know it was the lower sugar option. I’m not a big one on toppings for my yogurt, but Philip was impressed they offer you hot fudge at checkout. I was happy with my blueberries. Cute place, good flavors, compares favorably with Yogurtland(and that’s a compliment in my book).

Having moved from California and having our own favorite frozen yogurt place out there called Tops Yogurt, the kids and I were on the search for one here in Atlanta. My kids loved it and even said it was better than Tops, which is something I thought would rarely come out of their mouths. They have great flavors which I was told they rotate. The toppings are the best, I have never seen that much of a selection. Come summer we will be here probably all the time, but as for now we will go there at least once a week. Service was great and cheerful.

Cigar smoking, beer drinking, and now frozen yogurt loving! This place is awesome! 12 frozen yogurt flavors, 124 toppings… HELLO!!! 124TOPPINGS!!! I tried all the yogurts, and had they weighed me, I would have owed at least another $ 8 for my sampling! I think I could eat here everyday and not run out of options. The choice of toppings is what merits that fifth star from me, everything you can imagine; Fruits, nuts, cereals, candies, cookies, coffee beans, syrups, HOT fudge, HOT caramel, HOT marshmallow toppings etc etc etc, and they top it off with whipped cream at the register! The place is fun and festive, very kid friendly, but cool enough to be seen in. Maybe I will replace my «Cigar smoking, Beer drinking» profile picture with a picture of me eating a piña colada frozen yogurt with pineapple sauce, shredded coconut, marshmallow cream with whipped cream and a cherry on top! Ok, maybe not.

This is the best place for frozen yogurt. Don’t waste your money on Menchies, this is the best. Great variety, tastes great, lots of toppings. You won’t be sorry.

What’s with all the self-serve fro yo places popping up? I guess I shouldn’t mock since it works well for me … nice to try a little bit of a few flavors, and nice when you want a little something sweet but don’t want to go overboard on portions. I only tried one of the tart flavors of the day, but all the fruit flavors I tried were great, light, and not tart at all. My son hates yogurt/frozen yogurt but he ate a whole cup of the coffee flavor happily — had no tartness to it, he actually thought it was ice cream. BTW if you’re a grapefruit fan, the pink grapefruit sorbet is TODIEFOR. I would happily have that one again and again.

Best assortment of toppings in town, much more than Yogli Mogli their one flaw is they are not as clean as Yogli Mogli which is constantly cleaning and keeping it super clean(The Windward Yogli Mogli). Thing is for me, clean makes or breaks a place. If they fixed this they would definitely be 5 star because between the yogurt and toppings and great settings, with plenty of chairs inside and outside it is a great place to hang out.

Ok people. I visit a lot of these yogurt shops where they have some kind of theme to the store then they put up like 6 machines that you can get your own yogurt out of. Well, this one takes the cake. They got it right. They read all the books on how to run a yogurt shop and had the street experience! If you want great flavors of yogurt. If you want yogurt that is not runny. If you want to have a good time then go to Arctic Brain Freeze Frozen Yogurt! and bring your kids if you can. They will absolutely love it!!! My favorite flavors were the coconut, pineapple, cake batter, and cookie dough! I think they all could be my favorite flavors and they do rotate flavors out to keep it REAL! Can’t wait to go back! I cannot say enough good things about this place.

Stumbled upon this little jem after dinner the Ru San’s nearby. I had my doubts when I first saw their advertisement but I was pleasantly surprised. When I first walked in I though the décor was very kid-friendly. They sell a lot of random toys and what-nots. Not usually my style but that’s ok. One thing I liked about this place was that it was super clean and bright. And like Katie, I like the self-serve theme as well. Plenty of toppings to satisfy everyone. Warm hot fudge and caramel and home made ghirardelli/almond fudge mixture! The plain yogurt was kind of nasty but I overheard one of the staff saying something was wrong with the mix so I’ll let this one slide. Kind of expensive with the 42c/oz deal. It was pretty slow when my little sister and I went in but I don’t mind it, kept the store clean. Staff, didn’t catch his name, was friendly.

I don’t want to like this place. I mean frozen yogurt is so 80s(wait, so am I!), but the make-it-yourself style, the great variety of flavors and toppings, and the focus on organic and healthy(yeah, explain the M&Ms then?) ingredients has me wanting to go more often than I should. The only negative is at 42 cents an ounce, and the desire to cram every bit of goodness into it, it can add up. My personal favorite: red velvet yogurt base, raspberry yogurt on top, mix with fresh raspberries and top with just the smallest amount of hot fudge.

I love this concept for frozen yogurt — lots of choices and you fill your own cup with all the yogurt combos and toppings you can stand. Then they weigh it and you pay by the ounce. Seems fair to me. This place just doesn’t hit on all cylinders though. For starters the vanilla yogurt is horrible. The blueberry was good as was the sugar free chocolate, but you can’t have bad vanilla. It just spoils all the swirling options! They also didn’t have some of the key toppings I look for like graham crackers, chocolate shavings or morsels, kiwi, etc. They do have Reese’s Pieces though — this review may have been two stars if not for that! I was super excited for this to open near our house purely because the ‘burbs suffer from a lack of options in this arena. I will go back to try some of the other flavors(um, hello Red Velvet!!) but will have to stick to Yoforia for my vanilla, graham crackers, and dark chocolate fix.
