From first call to day of my wedding, I felt like Meg was an old friend. She listened to everything I wanted and exceeded my expectations with
every detail.
Our food was amazing! Our guests are still raving about it almost a month later. Chicken and waffle bites, mini cupcake lasagnes, roasted root vegetables, pumpkin raviolis and individual chicken pot pies!!! And that’s before dessert– pumpkin whoopie pies, chocolate macaroons, and warm apple cider donuts. Yummmmm!!!
Our wedding was at an off site style venue at the Winslow House. We had to rent everything! Meg made it feel the complete opposite.
We rented our tent, tables and chairs from BRWR and when they nearly ruined my day, Meg was there to save the day.

Nothing matters more during the stressful time of wedding planning than having faith that your catering company will perform the way they stated they would. And what a performance it was?! We could not have asked for anything more from Meg. Starting with the communication, she was always easy to talk to, responded to all e-​mails and was quick to ease any concerns. She was punctual and to the point. She met multiple times with us to give us a chance to taste the food, go over décor, and finalize any details. She organized all the little details that would have been time consuming for us and needed no direction to give us exactly what we wanted. The wedding itself needs a special review, not only did she organize the décor in a very classy manner but every single thing exceeded expectations. The food was exactly great, the staff was very attentive, serving was quick and efficient, everything has a nice flow as if we had done this thousands of times. We got so many compliments that day on the food, organization and staff. It was a great night because of the hard work Meg and her team had done. Excellent performance and excellent result, we could not have asked for anything more.

Meg and her crew from Abby Park/​Cypress Catering exceeded all our expectations! Meg could not be easier to work with — and her skill at coordinating everything down to the smallest detail was noticed by many of our guests. And the only thing that received more kudos than the catering crew was the food they served up. Everything — and I mean everything — was delicious. Guests were telling me all evening how good the food was. The pork sliders, the watermelon feta skewers, the Mac and cheese shooters, it was all amazing! There’s no question who we’ll be calling for the next party.

Cypress Catering Company did the best job for my wedding every step of the way. I have heard from so many of my guests that they had the best food at my wedding that they have ever had at a wedding! We had a buffet, with a pasta, a seafood, and a beef, and every single choice was absolutely delicous. The hors d’oeuvres were amazingly good as well, and very diverse.
Not only was the food exceptional, the staff was perfect. We had a lot more acceptances than predicted so our venue was rather crowded, but the staff was super polite and gracious and friendly and smiley even when they couldn’t circulate as fast as they probably wanted, and when they had to wait for guests to get out of their way.
Also, we changed our mind a few times about how it would all go down — from cocktail reception to plated dinner to buffet — and Meg at Cypress Catering was super patient and supportive and eager to make whatever we wanted work. Even til the last minute when we had to add a kids table to an already super cramped space, she made it all work cheerfully and kindly. Also, she was soooo nice about letting us use the same space for a ceremony and then switch it all to accomodate 8 tables of 10 during cocktail hour. To me, it seemed like Mission Impossible, but it was really the best use of space for the evening, and she and her staff made it work perfectly without ever complaining or making me feel high maintenance.
Meg was also super nice for the other vendors to work with. We had 2 different desserts places bring cookies and cupcakes and she helped organize them, and she was really great with my friend who did all of the flowers.
I can’t say enough good things about Meg and Cypress Catering. The food, service, atmosphere, support, everything was exceptional. Our wedding was the most fun wedding I’ve been to, largely due to her! Thank you Meg and Cypress Catering!
And the icing on the cake is that they were a lot more reasonably priced than other places I interviewed in the Boston area!
