Antigua Coffee House

Fills a need. Most people who work in this building, which will soon add 500 Johnson Controls employees, need a place to grab a quick bite.
Folks who work here are very nice and the space is comfortable.
There are some quick grab items like salads, cheese sticks, fruit cups, yoghurt parfait and subs. They have paninis, quesadilla, smoothies, sandwiches and the like.
I hope that when the influx of employees in the building increases, they can increase their staff because if you order from the menu, it is a wait, due to only one person cooking all the food and one order at a time. In my ½ hour break for lunch I usually don’t have enough time to order and eat within that time.

The owners of Antigua Restaurant opened a coffee house a few months ago. It’s located in the CBS 58 building, across the parking lot from Blast Fitness (formerly Bally’s on Hawley Rd).
I held a private event for 40 people in late April. I was able to connect a receiver to the sound system for music and Antigua catered the food with delicious pork in salsa verde, chicken fajita mix and rice, along with salad and other sides. The food was excellent as it always is with Antigua.
Recently I learned that the coffee house makes breakfast and lunch, so I’ve been picking up made-​to-​order hot breakfast sandwiches and occasionally grabbing a ready-​made sandwich from the refrigerator for lunch.
The coffee house is open Monday through Friday from 7:00AM until 4:00PM.
The breakfast menu includes items such as a breakfast burrito, egg sandwiches with choice of ham, bacon, turkey, sausage, and cheese, pancakes, and hash browns.
The lunch menu includes made-​to-​order burgers, quesadillas, paninis, soups and a daily lunch special. Today’s lunch special featured Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo with garlic bread and a drink for only $ 6.95.
The prices are very reasonable and I’ve had great food. I’ve already tried the breakfast burrito and ham and egg sandwiches on english muffin and also on croissant. All were delicious.
If you work in the area, stop in for lunch. If you live in the area stop in for breakfast or pick up coffee, bakery, breakfast or lunch to-​go. I forgot to mention that chips, bakery items, salads, fruit, and other snacks are also available for purchase.
Aside from that, it is a beautiful space and was perfect for the event I held, which included salsa dance lessons. So it works great for office parties, rehearsal dinners, etc. Go see for yourself!
