History
Established in 1994.
In the early 1990s, it was rare for Steve Culver to enjoy an uninterrupted evening at home. Many friends, friends of friends, relatives and neighbors called him for computer advice. Patient but enthusiastic, Steve talked them through their computer issues while his dinner was getting cold.
«You should be paid for all that advice,» said his wife Sally.
«I should get a trademark on the name Computer 911,» Steve answered.
In February 1994 the trademark was acquired (despite objections from Porsche) and Computer 911 was born. Originally conceived as a helpdesk hotline, clients began to request hands-on computer service. This led to offering onsite and shop service delivered from the Milwaukee suburb of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
Now a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Steve Culver and his talented staff of certified information technology professionals partner with local businesses to act as in-house IT staff.
