It’s a nice and clean place. Cheaper when coming during Tue and Thur. The tv show are good there. Just wish there can be more new machines

Great location! Lots of customer parking! Simple service! Helpful staff! Cheap machine use prices! I think that this place is overall a good place to do your laundry. I would definitely recommend this place for other people! They also have lots of chairs and tables for customers to use. I can do homework while I wait for my laundry!

This is still a great place for laundry. Convenient and clean and lots of parking. They finally filled in the big pot hole in the back parking lot. But one thing the bugs me is that they never clean the rubber gaskets around the washing machine windows where mold is growing. Easy thing to put on their daily maintenance list.

I love this place. The washers are great and always get your clothes bright! Friendly staff and good selection of different size washers. WiFi tanning and good food and shopping nearby. I have washers in my building but I prefer this place than anywhere in Milwaukee. Also double loads are $ 1 on Tuesday and Wednesday. Parking lot too. They have drop off service too!

I started my evening dreading the need to do laundry (we’ve just moved into a new house with a broken washer/​dryer) and ended up being so happy to have finished 5 loads in less than two hours (including my own folding).

I have been here several times at various parts of the day and night. It is always very clean, the machines are well maintained, the lights are bright, and somebody is always working the counter. People of all walks of life and age are there. The quarter machine seems to always be well stocked to the washers and dryers taking only quarters. There is even an on site single use detergent dispenser if you should forget to bring your own. The only draw back is the lack of immediate parking, but usually parking can be found within a couple blocks if you don’t mind walking. They do offer tanning, but tanning is not my thing.

Awesome place. Plenty of seating, reasonably priced, very clean, free Wi-​Fi, and the staff is always friendly!

I didn’t know that I could be this excited over laundry, but I have been proven wrong. It’s a strange, yet satisfying feeling really. Sunday night rolled around and I was running low on clothes and time. I decided to look into places that offer full-​service wash, dry, and fold laundry. After a few phone calls and some online searching, I decided to go with Eastside Maytag. I’m glad I did for a few reasons:
1. Their turnaround time for wash and fold laundry is some of the fastest in the city! I dropped my clothes off at 2pm and was able to pick everything up by 8pm.
2. I was able to provide them with special laundry detergent! I am allergic to traditional detergents and need to use the Free and Clear type. While Eastside Maytag didn’t have any on hand, they gladly told me I could bring in my own detergent for them to use. They asked if the dryer sheets they use would be a problem. Their concern was extremely appreciated.
3. Their price per pound can’t be beat! Less than $ 2/​lb?! Hello — that’s just awesome. My total cost ended up being about $ 15 more than if I did the laundry myself at a laundromat. In my opinion, the extra $ 15 for the convenience of having someone else do my laundry in less than a day is totally fair.
4. I LOVED how they folded my clothes! I feel so strange that I’m geeking out about how well my clothes were folded, but it made my night so much easier. All my clothes looked as if they were folded for a department store. I had a few button up shirts and dress pants, and nothing needed to be ironed.
The staff of Eastide Maytag were friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely consider using the coin laundry there also. Huge, clean facility with seating and parking. You just can’t beat that! Though I’m not sure I’d go on a Sunday night though; It was packed! Overall, this is a great place on the east side. I’ll definitely be checking it out again.

Let me first say one of my least favorite chores is doing laundry… With that out of the way this place might be a bit better than the average. Some of the pro’s of laundering here include a wife variety of machines, they have your standard washers, a double load, and then a super machine that you could literally was like five comforters in no problem. They have plenty of seating, tvs playing delightfully cheesy reality shows, and even offer a tanning bed if that’s your deal. Weekdays they offer half priced loads which is nice because it’s usually not too crowed. change machines, soap vending machines and plenty of folding tables are included In some of the things offered. In the neighborhood there is a coffee shop sushi sandwiches and shopping which helps to kill the time.
Ok I’ve save the best for last… They have a laundry service!!! Yes for all you laundry haters out there this is your place! You drop of a bag of dirty laundry and you come back 2 hours later and your clothes are washed and folded! What a dream come true. They charge you by the pound, about $ 1.20 I believe. If you’re strapped for time it’s well worth it.
Some downsides include: it can get a bit crowded on the weekends and let’s be honest no one really wants to wait around to put your wet clothes in the dryer on a football Sunday. And once the dryers have had a full day of action they can get pretty hot so make sure all your delicates are out of the wash. Final down side for a while they didn’t get great phone reception and my phone would cut back and forth from 3G to 4G… today is seems to be a non issue and my 4g is rockin strong. Overall not a bad place to hang out for a few hours on a Sunday.

For a laundromat its cleaned and have lots of seats for you to sit.
The machines are GREAT they have different size according to what your looking to wash. They also have triple/​double loads machine. Not to mention wifi which helps when your waiting for your load to stop lol before moving onto the dryer.
Just FYI there’s a bar across the street and lots to eat within walking distance

There’s wifi. It’s super clean. Lots of machines that seem to work well and reasonably fast. And vending machines. Nice lighting. Tables. Bright bathrooms. Decent parking lot. TVs playing some kind of swapping show that I’d never watch at home, but is entertaining none the less. Couldn’t really ask for much more.
And they offer tanning. No thanks, but that’s cool.

Friends, I have never been to a laundromat before visiting this one, so I have nothing to compare it to with the exception of every laundromat fight scene I’ve ever watched in movies. The first one that comes to mind is Ninja Assassin. Ya’ll, I don’t want to get shoved into a dryer because of some karate misunderstanding. Korean pop/​movie star Rain, I just want to be friends…
I digress.
This facility is fairly clean and modern looking. Not seedy at all. The guy at the front desk (I didn’t get his name) was so friendly and helpful, I felt like a regular already.
Tuesday through Thursday, the double load washers are only $ 1.00 to run (an extra quarter for the super cycle) and the express dryers are only 25 cents per 8 minutes.
There’s also tanning available, and I didn’t check too much into it, but it appears you’re able to drop your laundry off for the staff to wash for you.
I personally prefer to wash my own dirty laundry and read or play pin ball while I wait.
I’m giving this place a 4 out of 5 because there were a few machines out of order, and there was a little end-​of-​the-​day cleaning that needed to be done.

This is the best laundry mat in Milwaukee by far. There are always machines open when I go and it’s never too crowded. The machines are very well kept too. The overall place is clean and the staff is friendly. They also have tanning for $ 5. I haven’t used the beds but they seem pretty nice.

This laundry tears me up… because while its perfect for my needs, it and the parking lot give my apartment probably the worst view in the city.
Anyhow, this is really convenient, literally a block from my place. The problem is I procrastinate on laundry, so I’ll do 2 big baskets at once. So yes, I am a lazy asshole and put the two baskets sometimes and drive that one block.
Always clean and you got to love their quarter machine :) and their free Wifi. The people who work their are happy, and really Tuesday laundry day = real cheap laundry.
Oh yes, this parking lot gets rowdy at night. I hear all kinds of screaming late at night and shenanigans. At least they close early though, for the sake for us residents near.

Laundry is the most loathsome task that some sadistic bastard ever invented. I would literally buy a new outfit everyday just so I didn’t have to wash clothes ever again (but, sadly, I’m not Ryan Braun — except for the herpes thing, I’m totally fine with not having herpes).
This laundromat is probably the one place that makes doing laundry halfway decent.
Here’s the lowdown: $ 1 washes on select days, tanning salon inside (which is just… weird, but hey, I’m sure some people are in to it), decent seating, nice TV’s, they will actually do your laundry for $ 1/​pound (HELL YES!), and the best part is that it is within easy walking distance to a number of east side bars (which will explain the crazy number of check-in’s I have at Yield bar across the street — mystery solved).
If you aren’t Ryan Braun or married to Ryan Braun (which is for some inexplicable reason I’ve decided is the pinnacle of being balls rich) and have to actually wash your clothes yourself, go here and do your damn laundry. Your place is starting to smell a little funky.

Love this place.
Me and the girl are not quite at the level of adult-​hood yet where you acquire your own washing setup, so we use this place once a week to do all of our dirty deeds.
Before she moved in and we started pooling resources (and laundry), she used to frequent some place called the Washing Well on Locust which I went to once and can verify may in fact be the entrance to Dante’s Hell.
The eponymous East Side Maytag Coin Laundry, or as I so amazingly and acronymizedly (WTF!) call it, the ESMCL, is the complete opposite.
It’s clean, the staff is friendly, and if you go on Tuesday it’s only a buck to wash.
I’ve never understood people who baby-​sit their laundry (is someone going to steal your panties, lol?), so I like the ESMCL because I can go across the street to Alterra or down the block to Whole Foods while I wait. Hell, I’ve even gone home and taken a nap.
They also have free Wi-​Fi. I know if the girl does laundry she takes her laptop there and hangs out. She did complain about some creepy dude asking her about some panties she forgot on the floor last time she was there, but nobody has ever bothered me.
I also don’t wear skimpy lace.
Whatever.
Anyway, it’s the best place on the east side to do laundry.

Doing laundry sucks. I don’t think most people would disagree with that. Doing laundry here makes it suck a little less. As others have said, the smaller white washing machines are $ 1.00 on Tuesday-​Thrusday. The dryers are really quick, and decently cheap. When I went there was a wait to get washers, but there were plenty of dryers. Best part of this place is Bally’s House of Magic pinball machine. Excellent table. I don’t care about clean clothes, I like pinball. Check this place out if you’re in the area.

PINBALL. Not going to lie, one of the main reasons I come here is for the pinball. It is not the closest laundromat to my house, but certainly the best. From Tuesday through Thursday they have 75cents washing! HOW AWESOME IS THAT??? And the dryers are 25cents per eight minutes. It is soooo cheap. AND CLEAN. The people working here are always awesome… the blonde guy that skates, the blonde girl that is always smiling… everyone is so kind. There is seating, clean restrooms, tanning, arcade games, vending… it is like a mini vacation!

This place is really clean and I really appreciate it. Before this place came along, I was having to dryclean my down comforter which costs lots o’ money. I just washed it here the other day for $ 5. Nicccceee.
They have a triple-​load machine there which is appropriate for my comforter and then I dry it with tennis balls to give it that extra fluff.
They have a lot of services there: drop off laundry (where the people that work there actually clean and fold your laundry, how nice is that?), dry cleaning, tanning, and pinball :-)

This was my favorite laundromat on the east side, until I acquired my own washer and dryer, like a grownup.
It’s clean. It’s amazing how many places where you’re meant to clean your clothes are just completely filthy. This place is kept swept and dusted by the always friendly front desk staff.
There are so many machines to choose from, single– to triple-​load. I think there’s also a Godzilla-​size for washing/​drying stadium-​covering tarps, or something.
They have dry cleaning (sent out), and they have drop-​off laundry service. There’s also a «frequent washers» club, or so I’ve heard.
They have multiple TVs, vending machines, PINBALL, some racing arcade game, free Wi-​Fi, and TWO, count ‘em, TWO parking lots!
Doing a lot of laundry? Gonna be there a while? Why don’t you… GET A TAN! Oh yes, they are also a Miami Tanning franchise! Mind blown yet?
Tanning not your thing? Walk across the street and do some shopping at Urban Outfitters or American Apparel. Or if you’re not in the mood for shopping, grab some coffee and breakfast at Alterra.
Yep, if I ever find myself without my own washer/​dryer again, I will be back at this place for sure.
