Freddy’s Tacos

The BEST! Wasn’t sure what to expect but loved the food! Fish tacos are available on Fridays. I like my tacos traditional style, and they do them up right.

The burritos are amazing!

Awesome tacos, which I stumbled upon after picking up some beer across the street from them on Oklahoma. I opted for a steak taco as well as a chorizo taco. IT came with cilantro, onion, diced tomato I believe. The green sauce included, when poured on them, made the tacos even better. Burritos are also available here. Served by a very friendly small staff. Right along a bus line, makes this spot a little easier to get to.

This particular truck sits on 13^th and Burnham right by El Rey. The food is excellent and reasonable. They have tortas, tacos, and burritos. They may have more than that but I usually just get the burrito. Meat choices are asada, chicken, lengua or tripe and all the usual veggies including avocado.
Prices, as with most street food, are very reasonable. Example. I got a burrito with steak, cheese, sour cream, and other veggies for $ 5.50. This burrito was pretty big and was certainly delicious. I’ve also had their tortas. Delicious again.
I believe they have another truck that hangs out at the new El Rey on 51^st and Oklahoma. So I’d imagine they may have a few more trucks than the ones I’ve seen. Overall, you can’t beat the quality and taste for the price.
