JC’s Pub & Grill

After seeing the raving reviews by Jess T and Josh S I decided to try out JC’s again to see if the place had a remarkable turn around. After eating the nachos I was once again disappointed with the service (I don’t really remember what the first bartender looked like but it is quite possibly the same as before talking with the same two friends at the bar…) and also with the nachos. A healthy portion of chips covered with a meager rationing of non-​gourmet toppings and cheese and a price that is two to three times higher then what they are worth (for being in the same price range as the nachos at Bar Louie, Water Street Brewery and Fat Abbey they have 25% of the toppings). If you want to go to a place with nachos that make Qdoba’s seems 5 stars then JC’s pub is for you.
I find it interesting that the two 5 star Unilocal reviewers each have one posting and accounts created the same month as their glowing reviews. I think I’ll save my third trip to this location for when it changes over to another new owner.
