I’ve had two custom jewelry pieces made with two different artisans here, and couldn’t be more pleased. I brought in gemstones we had purchased in Sri Lanka, and I had them mounted to give as gifts for the Chief of Staff. She gets lots of compliments, they’re both original works of art, the craftsmanship is excellent, the turnaround time was reasonable(a few weeks), the pricing moderate and fair. Terri and Chris have rather different styles, I can’t recommend one over the other. I liked the work so much, I just dropped off two more jobs.

This store carries some really interesting and reasonably priced jewelry. The staff is very friendly and they have a great dog wandering around! This is a great place for browsing. I got a ring re-sized and it took a few weeks(quality places are popular, I guess) but it was very affordable and perfectly done despite ending up 2 sizes smaller.

Unbeknownst to me, my fiancé, Matt, was working behind the scenes for months with Chris, one of the jewelers at Magpie to design a unique, original sapphire and white gold wedding/engagement ring for me. The ring is literally one of a kind, and the jeweler even made several«practice» rings to show Matt different style options and possibilities. The end result is amazing, and the customer service made the whole experience that much better! Matt had no clue about my ring size, and happened to guess right, but Chris offered to modify the ring in any way at no extra charge just to ensure my happiness with it overall. Check this place out!

I stopped in here last Saturday because I thought my wedding ring(not purchased here) might need to be re-sized, as it had been severely irritating me for a few months. I forget her name but the female staff(I forgot her name — feel bad) was very kind and instead wound up doing some grinding inside the ring to soften sharp points. She was very careful in insuring I had a great fit. I’ve been wearing it for five days and now and it feels great. I was only charged $ 10. Most items on display I saw were in a very modern style. There was a good amount of diversity within that and some pieces of art too. Interesting place to browse.

My fiancée has bought me a pearl necklace from this store that I absolutely adore. He also spent months designing my engagement ring with the owner, Chris, and I cannot believe how beautiful and unique it is! Chris is a true artist.

Magpie is by far my favorite jewelry store. I have brought in many small jewelry repairs, and they do a wonderful job for a very reasonable price. The shop is small but is filled with lovely jewelry from a variety of artisans. I have been happy with every piece, and this is a great place to purchase gifts. The location is wonderful… in the midst of great Tosa Village shops(between Heinsight Leathers and Bartalottas, across from Le Reve, Blue Lapin, D’Oro, etc) This shop is a must-see!

I love Magpie. I have gone here for years. Just stopped in this morning on my way home from the Farmer’s Market. They design the coolest jewelry you have ever seen. They also carry other lines of unique artists’ jewelry. Recently they sized my husband’s new watch in less than five minutes, no charge. Chris re-sized my wedding solitaire for such a low price, I can’t even remember how much that was. They fix all sorts of jewelry. They will custom make any piece you desire. Terri is very friendly and helpful. I love their dog, Ruby, who roams around the store freely looking for attention. I definitely recommend Magpie to anyone looking for unique jewelry and a pleasant experience.
