Had a hankering for a grilled cheese… had a hunch I could rely on this place to deliver a good one! And they did. A mix of cheddar, swiss, and provolone on good old fashioned white bread and toasted to perfection — yum! Opted for the kettle chips on the side and enjoyed every little bite of the mix of cheesy and crunchy goodness. We Wisconsin girls love our cheese… and it had been a long time since I’d had one of these sammiches. Great, attentive service; outlets under the bar for charging electronics; and TVs to catch your favorite sporting event. Much thanks to Miller Brewhouse for a lovely, reasonably priced(for an airport) linner before my flight!

Not my first time eating here, service has always been sloooow. Don’t clean the tables, beer selection has no local Milwaukee craft beers. I understand it’s miller owned so probably limits what beer they can sell but the location in the airport is a gold mine if they could get there act together. Had a grilled cheese, was more bread then cheese.

My mom(82) & I ate lunch there today and both ordered burgers; mine with cheese & no tomato on the pretzel bun; hers with onions and pickles on a kaiser bun. We both got fries as sides($ 1 extra), and I had iced tea with lemon and Splenda; mom had water. We were seated promptly by a friendly gentleman who picked up on my mom’s Texas accent, and our waitress, Pinky, was friendly and polite and went over the order patiently while my mom debated on burger condiments. She brought ketchup and mustard for us right away and checked back with us for drink refills. We both liked our burgers and fries(thinner than steak fries, but not too salty, crunchy, or greasy) –our plates were cleaned. Why only 4 stars? I reserve those for something really special or out of the ordinary –a real dining experience. This service was great, food good, dining room clean and comfortable. Will return and do recommend.

One of the few sit-down restaurants in the airport. Pleasant, proactive staff. Food was good, served promptly and hot. Priced fairly(for an airport). Would definitely go back.

I stopped in here while waiting for my flight. I had some time to burn with my co-workers. The restaurant serves American food and some nice local brews. We all ordered our alcoholic beverages first and the server mixed them all up and gave everyone the wrong drinks. My friend ordered a glass of wine and she ordered the 9 ounce glass and the server brought out the 6 ounce. You could see the server was embarrassed but she quickly remedied the situation. We all ordered the French Dip with a horseradish sauce and it also came with the au jus. We all agreed that the French Dip was really good. The meat was very tender with very little fat. I was surprised that there were such bad reviews. For airport food I thought this place was pretty darn good.

Slow service from super crabby servers. Swore she forgot about us. Had a grilled cheese, which was okay… more bread than cheese. Not really many more options in this airport though, but has potential to be a great spot. Just too bad the servers are terrible.

The worst service. It blows my mind that this girl is actually employed here… they really need to consider the fact that they are a chain and if they want me to visit any location again, they would have should have standards.

Just went here recently and walked out after 5 minutes. The server was super rude to our party, it was actually kind of astounding. I wish I could have tried the food, it actually sounded decent but after that experience I will not be returning.

Wanting something«cooked» so tried this place while waiting for flight. Although salmon is salmon, most restaurants will try to dress it up. This was pretty close to my frozen-then-thawed salmon I make at home, with Uncle Ben’s rice and weak, unseasoned«vegetables». Pros-Beer on tap and my salmon was out in literally 7min., but next time I’ll try something or somewhere else.

Menu said to tell staff if you have a food allergy. When we did, we were told they could not serve us. They were not willing to get a manager or make a hot dog(would have been a safe food). They should really say they are not willing to serve people with food allergies.

Wow. Decent draft beer available. Service without a smile — just what a traveler needs. Apparently the cooks have never heard of seasoning as evidenced by the bland burger. Skip this place. While I prefer to try local places while traveling, Chili’s will be my choice for flight out.

Stopped here for lunch before our flight. Ordered bowl of beer cheese soup and Fish Fry platter. Food was piping hot, freshly prepared, and delicious! Beer cheese soup had croutons, green onions, and bacon on top. Just the right consistency with yummy cheesy good flavor. Fish Fry was crispy, not too greasy, and the breading was excellent. Beer selection wasn’t great, and a little pricey. Service was great. Definitely recommended.

Service is always extremely slow, at the bar or a table doesn’t matter. Due to a lot of travel to Milwaukee and few options at the airport, we find ourselves here often. Chicken tenders are the safest choice. Positive note is they normally have Sam Adams on draft.

As a certified curd aficionado, I hereby nominate their curds for Best in Show. The fact that the wonderful chef lady made them for us for breakfast(!!!) on special request, including a World Class Bloody Mary(no chaser, though), was just the icing on a wonderful Wisconsin weekend. Billy Mitchell Airfield, you get better every time I see you!

After getting stuck overnight in Vegas(dream for many, nightmare for me), I ended up with $ 60 in meal vouchers from United. Problem was that in Vegas, everything was closed at the airport… and in Denver I didn’t have enough time to use them. So when I got back to Milwaukee, I decided to find the most expensive place I could and order the most expensive thing I could. I was also pretty hungry. Had it not been for good customer service I received, I would’ve given the place one star. I ordered the chili to start and the Surf and Turf. Honestly I wasn’t expecting too much… out of an airport restaurant besides expensive. Yup… just expensive. The chili wasn’t too bad, would’ve been better on a Hot Dog. Mmmmm… chili cheese dog sounds delicious… Anyway back to my disappointing Surf and Turf. The steak wasn’t cooked the way I asked and it was very tough and fatty. The Shrimp… well it seemed like it was the kind that came out of a freezer section. And there were mashed potatoes and steamed veggies… neither of which were particularly that great. My waitress came over and asked if everything was ok because she noticed me pushing food around my plate, but in reality, what was I going to gain by sending it back? More disappointing food with some Fromunda Cheese? Besides I had kind of filled up on the chili so it wasn’t too bad. I only got to about $ 31, but since you don’t get change from the vouchers, I can at least say that I spent $ 40 of the vouchers. I was going to say that unless you are spending vouchers, but in reality, even if you are spending your meal vouchers, you may want to go somewhere else if you want a good meal.

I am a joke for eating here. I saw The word Brewery and got excited, rookie mistake. I ordered a water, glass of Cabernet Sauvignon and the Panko shrimp. Seriously what is wrong with me. Shrimp. I read all of the poor reviews about the rest of the food so I chose to go with something that hadn’t been rated. Mistake. It tasted oily and I could barely decipher the shrimp in the fried bundle. As I sit here starring at the plate, chugging my water I truly regret my choice. I should’ve just gotten a burger at the place across the corridor. The service was fine, not super attentive but exactly what you want/need when at the airport. They also seem to have a decent beer selection and the prices are appropriate. Meh

On my way out of town, I stopped here with a co-worker for lunch. We decided to eat pre-security because I was flying Delta, he was on Southwest. We picked this place because it looked pretty cool and it had Miller’s name on it, so we figured it had to be good. Since it was airport fare, I didn’t have high expectations in the first place. I really debated on if this was three stars or two… so I really give it a 2.4… it doesn’t quite rate a three star review. It was busy when we got there, as it was lunch time, but we had no trouble finding a place to sit. Other reviews mentioned that service is a little slow… we noticed that it took a long time for someone to come greet us at the table and take our drink orders. Once we started ordering stuff, our server checked back with us pretty often… until we got the food. Then, service slowed down again and it took forever to get our check and to pay out. The food was okay. I got a bacon cheeseburger. The bun wasn’t all that great(I won’t go so far as to call it stale), and the meat was dry. I had all the usual trimmings(lettuce, tomato, and a pickle spear). Unfortunately, the ketchup bottle at our table was empty, so I had to steal one from another table. The fries were warm when they got to the table, but got cold quickly. I’ve had better burgers and fries at Wendy’s. The beer was good, but it wasn’t memorable… at least it was cold. Very disappointing, Milwaukee… I figured a «Miller Brewhouse» restaurant would at least be a good choice. Next time, I’ll find someplace else to eat at this airport.

Yes, they have beer. They also have some mediocre food. There are two things very wrong here. 1. Slowwwwwwww. Any airport restaurant should be wicked fast. Place an order, food comes out, eat & go. They could make a ton of money if they did this. It’s not worth the time unless you’re hanging out for quite awhile. 2. Sloppy credit card entry. I was overcharged by thirty dollars on my card! Recourse is to call the HMS Host number on the receipt, but they are totally unresponsive. Don’t risk being late or being overcharged. Don’t eat here!

My friend and I were flying out of different terminal and this was the closest option to eat at without having to go through security first. We had plenty of time to eat and have a cocktail. First, I ordered a cocktail and that took about 10 minutes. When it did arrive it was wrong. So I sent it back. The server brought the correct drink back after a few minutes. My friend was not drinking and she wasn’t even offered a water. So she sat there drinkless for a good while. Finally after asking twice our server brought her a water. But not me,(even though I had asked) We ordered appetizers and our entrees at the same time while mentioning that we did have a flight to catch that left in an hour and a half. We specified that we’d like the app first. 30 minutes after ordering we were still waiting for our appetizer. We searched the floor and could not spot our waitress. Finally after 40 minutes of waiting we flagged down another server and said that we had to go. My friend was going to miss her flight. The woman we flagged down said if you’re going to miss your flight, go ahead and go. At that time our server showed up with our entrees sans appetizer. The waitress was apologetic and said that she went ahead and asked them to box up our appetizer. Terrible experience. And I will never return.

For a bar located in an airport it’s décor is eye catching and you assume that it could be a good time. Kind of like Chili’s commercials, you think it’s a happening place. However, that isn’t true. You will find other thrill seekers like yourself and all will(like you) be waiting for service. Best to pull up to the bar if possible. It’s strange, it’s not busy at all, but service just isn’t around or doesn’t care to come to your side. If you have kids with you, you can bring them with, there is nothing going on here. Let the kids make noise, it will spruce up the place. Their menu is dismal and breakfast isn’t any better. I want to love this place because it’s Miller, but there’s nothing about it to love. If you like Miller also, skip this and head into Milwaukee for a FREE brew tour with beer tastings.
