Came here for lunch on a weekend, about 1 pm after shopping at the grocery next door. Was seated after a few minutes which was surprising since there were only 2 other tables with diners at the time. My wife and 2 children were handed menus, then ignored for about a half hour. Finally someone comes over after 30 minutes and pours some water. We were ready to order like 25 minutes ago but ok, just pour some water and don’t take our order. My wife saw some floaters in her water so at that time we just stood up, walked out and enjoyed a nice lunch up the street a few blocks at Gyro Palace. I guess this place couldn’t care less about taking my money.

The pad thai is delicious… yes, I understand that that is a Thai dish, and this is a Vietnamese restaurant, but I will always give credit, where(and when) credit is due. The servings are large(family style) — keep that in mind, plan on sharing(or just come really hungry… if you don’t like to share.) They do provide a ladle to share the phở… The price… just right!(Except for the coffee, thought that was a bit overpriced for the size.) They’re also very(too?) generous with the condensed milk, do think twice about ordering that if you’re not looking for a sugar rush. I read a lot of reviews commenting on the poor service, this was not our experience(at all)… they were very attentive and the food came out very quick.

From the outside this place looks rinka dink but after sitting down and eating here you come away impressed by the food and service. I had the pad Thai noodles and I am happy to say they are the best I’ve ever had. I tried the mango drink and that was a little or odd my comfort zone but good. The phở was phenomenal. Service was impressive also. I would go back again any time.

Horrible customer service. Went with my husband for lunch. We ordered phở and a banh mi sandwich. Phở came within 5 mins. We Had to ask for our drinks and I never got my sandwich. When we asked where was the sandwich the waiter went to the kitchen and never returned to our table. The owner brought us our check and I told him I never got my sandwich. He argued with the servers for a few mins but still no answer about my damn sandwich. Lol. Finally I said no sandwich. Not worth getting mad over and left. I DONOT recommend this place!!!

Looking for Vietnamese food for lunch found this place. Had a pineapple smoothie, spring rolls and a beef sandwich. But the smoothie was small for the price but it was delicious. The spring rolls ingredients were super fresh and tasty. And the beef was one of the best ones I’ve ever had. If you like Vietnamese food you have to try this place.

The waitstaff are very sweet and friendly the service was spot on we started out with the crispy egg rolls very tasty with a super crunch on the outside and it pairs very well with the dipping sauce next we got the frog legs with butter they just melt in your mouth very tender with a mild buttery flavor I made my own dip for this with the many of condiments they offer on the table just watch out for the bones there very tiny the rest of our meal was also very satisfying and I’ll definitely be back to try new things.

So good. Great Phở especially on a cold day. Love the spring rolls and Vietnamese coffee also.

Off the beaten path in a strip mall, Phở Viet was the closest restaurant with soup I could find on a cold night after weeks of travel. Their Phở was what I needed and for that I give it a solid three. The broth was solid but not extraordinary. The noodles were good. The quality of the additives — meat, basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños, etc. was good. If you visit this family owned restaurant you will find good food that will want up and give you the strength to kick some ass in the world.

Great food and nice staff. I like to try different Vietnamese places and we just moved to the area, so we stopped in. The atmosphere is nice — easy going and professional. The phở was fantastic! The meat tasted awesome, which can be a gamble sometimes. The eggrolls are great too. Always a little concerned about what the filling will be. I’m especially excited that my fiancée enjoyed the food. He hates trying new things, but he actually liked something here.

The food is delicious but the service was terrible! We waited forever to get our order even taken and people that came in after us got served way before us. When the waiter came to drop our food off she ran off right away without asking if we needed anything(our drinks were clearly empty). All the of the staff was just standing around, not doing anything. They’re not very friendly and none of them smile.

The good was the Phở. It was tasty and plentiful. The reason for the 3 star is the service. We were seated at a dirty table that we had to bus ourselves and he kept forgetting the beansprouts, basil, veggie side. Would I go back? Maybe if I was in the neighborhood and was hungry.

5 star food, 3 star atmosphere. Great Vietnamese and other Asian options. Fantastic Phở, and the fried rice was some of the best ever. It’s an American diner vibe though, so just know that going in, and don’t expect this to be anything more.

Freaky Fast(consider defending your title, Jimmy John’s), this place gets your orders right away, and then moments later, your food comes! At our most recent visit, we got a large, which was HUGE, house special phở and a bbq pork Bhan Mi. The phở was delicious, plenty of beef slices and brisket, comes with the standard boat of bean sprouts, basil, and lime on the side. My favorite that night, however, was the Bhan Mi. There was so much going right for the sandwich, the bread was toasted perfectly flaky on the outside and right as I bit into it, the bread gave way to reveal the most pleasant bread consistency. The flavors were a harmonious medley, chewy savory bbq pork, crunchy pickled radish & carrots, and creamy sweet mayonnaise bundled up in that perfectly toasted french baguette. I’m salivating as I write this! Can’t wait for the next time!

For flavor, this place is hands down the best phở in Mke, and one of the best in phở restaurants anywhere. Get P1 the most classic taste combo. However I wouldn’t give it a 5 star for the reputation of service it has. I understand small businesses may suffer from unreasonably eaters that find excuses to avoid paying, but I have heard and read too many stories of how poorly the owner handles the real disappointed eaters. The language they use and the demeaning message in there… I am GLAD that I have never had an order I didn’t enjoy and refused to pay, not looking forward to that attitude. But I did have one experience a long time ago that a bowl of phở i ordered had a veggie bug in it and they gave me a new bowl, kind of unhappily, but only mildly so, which, I sucked up because they were probably not making money and thus not happy, and the veggie bug issue is somewhat an understandable incidence compared to other weird stuff you might see in food. Suggestion: Be more professional in handling customer complaints and retain a higher satisfaction and return rate, that would benefit you in the long run.(Well, but frankly it seems to be the older man that own the business simply don’t care cos he has enough ppl to give him what he want. Eh, family business…)

We told them we were in a hurry because we needed to catch a flight. They were quick in getting out the food but they were not very attentive. As an appetizer we ordered the vegetarian spring rolls, the potion was huge and it was good. I ordered the vegetarian dish over noodles. It was also huge and good. I was very bummed that this was the only vegetarian dish on the menu. I had hoped for vegetable phở but they didn’t offer it. My mom ordered the Chicken Phở, the phở had very little flavor. She attempted adding some of the Hoisan, salt, pepper, and spices but it was not good. She said that she did not like it. They offered to make something else saying she had to catch a flight and would just get something at the airport. We got the check and was still charged for the phở, she went to the counter and the owner said that she had to pay for it. She said that she’s never heard of a place still charging for a dish that wasn’t enjoyed. At the end the owner took the phở off but said that the next time she comes here, she has to enjoy the food she’s ordered. She responded«don’t worry we will never be back»

The best Phở in MKE. I always leave wishing my stomach was bigger. They give you generous portions at a great price. I loove their food. Just thinking about their phở broth makes my mouth water. I have even seen owners of other places grabbing a bite here. I wish they had a location on the North side, but it is worth the trip. I love that there is Pacific Market next door so I can grab all the ingredients I just ate!

DONOTGETTHEBOBATEA DONOTGETTHEBOBATEA DONOTGETTHEBOBATEA Unless you’re a kid, that is. It is inferior and tastes like very sweetened plastic. Moving on! I always get the seafood phở and I am never disappointed taste-wise. They could have a bit more shrimp — they scrimp on the«scrimp», ha! — but it’s forgivable. My hsuband always gets the tripe phở. The bowls are huge and presentation with the thai basil leaves is wonderful. My favorite dish though is on of their appetizers — the shrimp wontons. Beautifully fried shrimp wrapped in a wonton skin. It comes with a sweet chili dipping sauce and the shrimp are superbly seasoned. One thing has me coming back. Asian people frequent here. A LOT. As in at least 50% of their clientele is Asian. That is always a good sign.

I stumbled upon this place while getting my car repaired, and thought I’d give it a try. So glad I did! I’ve had a lot of Vietnamese food all over the country, and this is hands down my new favorite! I got a dish described as steamed chicken with cabbage, mint, and lime, but what I got was a huge pile of all those things plus peanuts and carrots in a light, fresh, perfectly spicy sauce. I will defiantly be back(after I finish my leftovers…).

Been wanting to go here for a while and finally did last Sunday… It’s now Wednesday and I still have the shiznits… And the bae had them too so it wasn’t just me… The C33 Beef tasted good, but definitely not worth feeling sick for 3days over… Btw, it’s not a reaction to the spices, I’m half Asian and used to all of them so it must be cleanliness… The floors were kinda greasy and sticky, I guess that should’ve been a sign. Maybe they didn’t want to be there on a Sunday but the staff was being aloof as well and took ages to come and serve us. Maybe they couldn’t be bothered to clean or serve proper food on a Sunday, don’t know… Absolutely not in a rush to go back to this place… Big disappointment and a big mess…

Came here for dinner on a Saturday after shopping next door. Seated right away and service was quick! 1. Phở w/meatballs and meat– Great flavor to the phở generous amount of noodles and meat. 2. Vermicelli w/spring rolls and pork– Very delicious, pork had great flavor and spring rolls were so good we were tempted to get an order of spring rolls to bring home. Reasonably priced for portions and restaurant, wilk def come back when I’m in the area shopping
