Established in 1995.
For more than 27 years, the Shabahangs have cultivated a reputation for excellence, based on their dedication to both their artisan vendors and their loyal clients. Shabahang and Sons has thousands of rugs on display, each of which has been hand selected by the Shabahangs who personally look at hundreds of rugs for each one that they ultimately choose for the company. The family has developed relationships with the artists that create the rugs and can tell the clients where a rug originates and details of the history, based, in part, on the diversity of each region’s weave, patterns, and colors.
The Shabahangs are highly trained and happily do all of the legwork for their clients to ensure that the clients get only the highest quality products. The showrooms combined cover more that 16,500 square feet, all of which is beautifully lit, making it a welcoming environment. Shabahang and Sons are respected experts on Persian and Oriental Rugs. The Shabahang Family has been in business for over 150 years, and My training began when I was a little boy when, as the youngest of the three brothers I learnt the secret of the trade at my father’s knees. I was raised and educated in Milwaukee Wisconsin and I attended the University of Milwaukee Wisconsin. I graduated with a business administration degree and shortly after I decided to commit myself to the family business full time. I have traveled all around the world to buy fine Hand knotted rugs and I hope to bring my knowledge and passion of Fine Rugs to a wider audience. I am currently living in Milwaukee and I spend most of my time working in our Shabahang and Sons Gallery Downtown Milwaukee and Waukesha Wisconsin.
