I don’t know how I have managed to completely miss this place until today. If cheers was a restaurant this would be the place. Between 7 to 7:30 am the place fills with people who know each other. Usually in the 7 am hour I’m an one of a few people having breakfast but this place was filling fast. The place looks like a converted house and would be easy to miss because I almost drove right past them but I saw the sign. Parking was just about full on the door side. This is definitely a local boys club that I entered with older people who knew each other and I got a couple looks but everyone was friendly. My service was wonderful and I noticed the coffee tops offs were being handled very well. The place has old school booths and tables with a racing fan decorations. The menu is pretty simple with two pages to look at with very reasonable prices. I over ordered to get a better sample of the breakfast and asked for a take out box while ordering because I knew I would have left overs. I had to get to work so I asked for everything, check, box etc when I placed my order and the food took about 5 minutes to hit the table. For a reasonable $ 8 I got 4 bacon strips, 4 sausages links, 2 eggs, hash browns and toast. The eggs were nicely sunny side up. The bacon was nicely crisp. The sausage links were juicy but not as zesty as I would like. The hash browns had a nice golden color. The toast was the generic three or a hard roll which I have never been offered before. One egg had the yoke broken but no biggie because I was going to break it over the hash browns anyway. My food was served on a plastic plate by the way. Overall this was a solid breakfast place with great service at a very reasonable prices and I can definitely see why it started to fill up quickly. This might be one if Milwaukee’s best kept secrets for breakfast judging by how long they have been open vs so few reviews. I think I’m going to have to try them again in the future for breakfast because it’s a short drive. When you think about fast food vs the solid food here for for a couple bucks more, it’s a no brainier.

My husband, 6 year old, and I came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The restaurant was fairly busy. We were seated and given coffee and water right away. Our food came within 8 –10 minutes. I had 1 egg over easy, hash browns and ham, and my husband had a Denver omelette. He liked the Denver omelette, «very cheesy.» My food was good/ok. The ham was that water pressed ham, and the hash browns were crispy on the outside. For food, I’d give it a 3 star, but the reason I gave it a 4-star was the service. It was great. The owners came around to check on us, and the waitress was pleasant. It was an overall good experience.

My friend, on her political campaign for the seat in district 7, took me to brunch at this local establishment. Although I loved my friend’s company and the coffee, the food was not much worth even mentioning. I ordered an omelet and they put two slices of American cheese on top of the egg instead of inside, and it wasn’t even melted. Just MEH.
