Ok I’ve been using the WAC (as a whole) since I’ve been 17, I’m 33. I’ve always liked West Allis because I could workout quick & get back to my day but the last couple months I’ve noticed a drastic change, it seems most (and I emphasize most, not all) trainers here are more worried about their own workout or having their person they are training take up 4 – 5 machines and/​or benches than the everyday people.
I started out thinking it was a phase but now it’s everyday, this place was once my oasis away from the world, to relieve stress and has turned into a stressor itself. I have visited greenfield location and downtown, which are awesome, West Allis it seems has turned into a fraternity, where if you’re there to just exercise you are treated as if you’re not worth their time. It’s a shame because they have some really good trainers and front desk but a few bad apples does spoil the bunch. Hopefully it changes, I’ll be at greenfield and have heard tosa locations are really nice too

The General Manager of WAC West Allis was TERRIBLE. She doesn’t know how to be friendly with anyone. She has a serious problem with her life. She doesn’t know how to approach customers appropriately. NEVER will go to WAC. Too much social there too. Not worth the price. Overpriced and huge rip off.

ROAR! You people are lucky you get a 2 star review after your complete incompetence, but what should I expect from a place run by teens and drop out college kids? YES, I’m pissed!
This overpriced, poorly run establishment has a horrible layout, is excessively warm all the flipping time, and will charge you for services you haven’t requested and apparently lose everything you give to them.
There are many classes available and many times and there’s typically quite a few machines open, probably because all the smart people have gone elsewhere! We won’t be back after they answer my scathing email and refund my money. Don’t waste your time with this social club. If you are looking for a real work out experience, your money will be better spent elsewhere and you’ll save quite a bit of dough by going elsewhere!

The layout of this place is a little hard to navigate at first but once you get the hang of it you can see how they make do with a lot of stuff in that space.
I think this is the only WAC with Raquetball Courts and there are ALWAYS people playing. not in like a «I couldnt get a time to play way», but more of a «people love using the courts and playing raquetball» sort of way.
I HIGHLY recommend if you like Yoga to take a class with Janice on Tuesdays at 630 or Thursday at 700. She’s great and totally goes with the flow. We had our class outside last Tuesday. In Wisconsin. In March. Yup, think on THAT one!
The staff is friendly and everything is clean. Parking can be a bit of a hassle but I actually just learned that there is a back parking lot in case you come during peak times.

Only the WAC in Stallis would have a bar (that’s right! Drink after your workout!) and the patrons to make it truly feel like a sconnie establishment. I am most comfortable at this location. It’s not a huge gymnasium-​like facility with rows and rows of equipment that makes you feel like the people behind you are watching you shake your money-​maker while running on the treadmill. The rooms are smaller and compartmentalized. They also have a women’s fitness room right off of the women’s locker room. This location is open 24 hours with some awesome late night classes. Think glow-​bowling, instead with spinning. It’s amazing!
In between sets you can watch some mean racquetball and handball matches.
Other good points:
It’s clean.
The trainers are good.
The classes rock and most are included in the membership.
The customer service is great.
The WAC overall is really worth the price of the membership.

I have a free week-​long pass to go to the WAC so I met up with a friend this morning to do some serious working out, and oh we did just that.
I took Zumba for the first time, and it was an advanced class. Everyone knew the moves except my friend and I, so we modified it to our own versions and had a blast! I swear I never thought Zumba would have me sweating so hardcore. It was great! They have some sexy moves goin’ on over there, too. Some people take it so serious, too. Hilarity!
After an hour of that I needed water, took a 5 minute break and moved to our next class: Kickboxing! Troy is an amazing instructor with 12 years of Tae Kwon Do behind him, and you can tell. He kicked our little booties like no other. After an hour of roundhouses, combinations, and power punching he had us doing 5 sets of sit-​ups, 25 reps each. Then he had us on the floor with weights doing canoe moves, AND MORE SIT-​UPS!
Whoo! Great work out and great staff! Monday I am going to run on the treadmill, and on my last day of my free week you better believe I am going back to that kickboxing class.

The building is a bit dated, but it has everything and the staff are great!
