Dave’s Killer Bread

Dave’s Bread is delicious and I won’t eat any other bread ever again. One third of the company is ex cons!!! WoW, able to reenter society and gain support in a good job and being part of a great company. The game that the «justice» system is based on doesn’t really want that. I congratulate Dave’s Bread and encourage you to keep your base objectives and values even though you are growing! I support any company that gives to those who may seem to be last on the totem pole for jobs, though they shouldn’t be, … but??? Stability, support and making a living… isn’t that what we all want? KUDOS
I love the different varieties and there is not one I won’t buy. Delish!
Here we have the bread in different stores so it is readily available which makes it really nice and even the price is great!

I love Dave’s! This is the only bread I eat. Was referred to go to the outlet and stock up on freezer bread. I saw the coupon on Unilocal and went. I was having trouble getting $ 10 worth of stuff since I alone don’t need much bread. The worker helped me pick out some other snacks and I got 3 loves of bread, some cookies and peanut butter for $ 8 and some change. At my work we sell a loaf of Dave’s for around $ 5! I popped my loaves back in the freezer and pull out a slice or two when Necessary, let it thaw for a few minutes and it works great! I’m good on bread for a few months, thanks!

I absolutely love Dave’s killer bread it is the only bread I buy. I am giving only two stars because on multiple occasions I have had mold days before the expiration date! It is a serious pain in the ass to always return bread to the market so half the time I drive all the way to store and half the time I do not. I decided to call Dave’s and let them know about the mold situation they were very nice on the phone and offered me a coupon for my problems. They reached out to me and I let them know that I returned that specific loaf back to the store and exchanged it. I think because I told them I exchanged that specific loaf they never sent me a coupon like they promised. It’s not that big of a deal and I really don’t care but if you are going to tell me you will send me a coupon then send me a coupon don’t nickel and dime your customers! You are a huge company it just makes you look bad when you do not follow through with what you say hence the two star review. Great bread bad customer relations!!!

Just love, love the product, love the company. of course no bread is really great for you but its full of flax and a variety of seeds that make you feel full for a very long time. A little slice goes a long way, ever since they started carrying it in west coast grocery stores there’s only one bread for me, it’s marginally more expensive than others but I will gladly pay more for this level of quality, keep doing what you do Dave and co. I’ll buy your bread forever

Daves killer bread is so very tasty and i love it even the new White bread done right. Also whole grain and made with potato flour no bleached flour and no high fructose corn syrup… Of course its not like any other bread. Fullfilling love that i can freeze in the freezer for 3 mos… Makes great grilled cheese and sandwiches are awesome fills u up in one sitting… Dkb all the way

I saw these guys at Eat VANCOUVER. The bread was good, something that I have had before, however, what sold me on the company wasn’t so much about the bread but Dave, what he does, what he believes and his perceptions on life. It’s the marketing and the person (branding) and less about the staples that holds a sandwich together. I did fall in love with the sample of the whole grain bread. The lady at the booth was really nice… I just wish that Dave himself was there.

I have been in the restaurant business for 45 years and this by far the best bread i haver had. I love the yellow label seed bread the best. Has a nice little sweet taste to it. This is the only bread I well ever buy for my home.

Dave’s Killer Bread… the title of the company is about as interesting as the owner’s life if you ask me… but I will stick to our purchase.
We bought several loaves of bread at the store location here. Currently we are chowing down on the three bread loaves we got here. The Multigrain bread is excellent, soft and it just feels like you are getting a good bread experience eating them.
They don’t make bread that is too seasoned like onion and basil flavored bread and what have you and the same goes for sweet bread too however they do have these selections available but it’s a different brand.
They have pretty good specials and discounts on select breads and if you use the Unilocal app you have a coupon for a free loaf of bread if you spend a certain amount. The cashier was a little leery of it and asked someone else but they approved the Unilocal coupon so we got our free bread loaf!

Not drinking the Kool-​aid on this one anymore. I used to dutifully buy Dave’s because of the whole grains, seeds, a single tear from LaMarcus Aldridge in each batch — all the stuff that’s good for you.
Then I found myself throwing gummy loaf after partially used loaf into the trash. Why? Because this bread is absolutely horrible for anything other than toast.
Straight out of the bag you can ball it up, with zero resistance, into a teeny little mush ball. Not a sign of good bread. It’s like Wonder Bread in that respect, dudes. Try and make a veggie heavy sandwich with it untoasted? Sure, if you like to dissect your sandwich after a bite because this bread isn’t going to hold up.
In the end, the kicker for me was the sugar content. Or, as Dave’s likes to call it «evaporated cane juice.» That’s putting lipstick on a white sugar pig. Dave’s — you made me throw a few BLATs away before they were properly consumed by my piehole, and that is patently unforgivable. Turkey sandwiches (with moistmakers!) became piles of over sweet sludge. My 30 second unscientific Google research concluded that a slice of Dave’s comes to the same amount of sugar as an Oreo. If not exactly, it’s close.
So now I get my bread from Tabor Bread or I eat what I always wanted to instead of choking down Dave’s sugar bombs: sourdough. Probiotics negate the white flour (again, Google science) and don’t pollute my sandwiches with such overwhelming sweetness.

I love bread. I love Dave’s Killer bread. I might love it too much. I eat probably 2 – 3 loaves per week. As everyone knows, each loaf retails for around $ 5.50 and up these days. However, this place has got crazy good deals that I must take advantage of to feed my big appetite.
At first I started doing a leisurely bike ride to this place and taking advantage of the buy 3 get 1 free deal on day old bread. But soon I ended up noticing that the best deals were on frozen bread when you bought 12 or more loaves/​Sin Dawgs. So now I drive there and load up. And even more exciting is that I recently married a teacher and they get an extra 10% off on Saturdays, so with all the discounts I end up getting each loaf for under $ 2.
Also, pro-​tip on the Sin Dawgs: don’t eat them too frequently. When I was bike racing I would have a little bit here and there for a snack and sometimes even eat a whole one for a big meal. Since doing that I reached my Sin Dawg quota where it was all just too much and my body can’t handle it anymore. It’s best to share the sin dawgs with others and eat no more than about a half inch slice at a time.

My family loves this bread. And the prices here mean I buy bread by the carload. I feel like I buy 20 loaves every time and the price is still affordable.
I buy ‘defective’ frozen or whatever. It all tastes great and who does not love that many seeds on their sandwich? Yeah, no one.
So go buy some god bread!

I’ve been introduced to this great tasting bread by my husband. I’m not a real sandwich person but this bread makes me one. It’s great with organic BLT! Applegate bacon from Whole Foods
, organic lettuce, organic tomatoes and organic mayonnaise – yum! I even had two sandwiches! Not a norm for me…
I hope Safeway in San Mateo, CA will continue to sell it!
Keep up the good work on this bread… don’t change anything. The minute that you do, people will notice and stop buying it.

Great bread! But if ur worried about calories, don’t even try it, it’s delicious and like no other bread.

Undoubtedly the best bread I’ve ever had in my life.
All varieties are excellent but the «Powerseed» and the «21 Grains» are the ones I gravitate to every time.
If my grocery store here in Eugene stopped selling DKB, I’d get another grocery store.
If I couldn’t find it in Eugene, I’d order it direct no matter the cost. There is no way I could exaggerate how much I love Dave’s Killer Bread.

I first learned of Dave’s Killer Bread while on vacation in Oregon at my sister’s home! There were fourteen of us that weekend, and all of us discovered this bread for the first time!
This bread is DELICIOUS and NUTRITIOUS … I’ve been trying to find a decent loaf of bread in the grocery store and hadn’t found it yet. I just bought two loaves of Dave’s bread from my local Safeway store in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Before I found out I had Celiac disease I used to LOVE Dave’s Killer Bread! I like to walk across the street from Bob’s Red Mill. Dave’s Killer Bread has a very small gluten-​free selection (as compared to the huge Bob’s Red Mill across the street). If Dave’s could figure out a way to make gluten-​free bread taste as amazing as all their gluten-​filled bread I would be sooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy and grateful!

I have been eating Dave’s Killer Bread for about 5 years. I used to be 175 pounds and lost 35 pounds on a staple of lean meats, veggies, and complex carbs. When it comes to breads and complex carbs, Dave’s Killer Bread is the best. It is packed with nutrition, flavor, and dollar signs.
That is why i love the refrigerator section of Dave’s Healthy bread store. The breads in this section are all discounted way below retail price. Plus if you buy 12 or more items from the fridge, you get another discount. You can freeze their bread. Just use it within a week once it is defrosted. Buy 12 and just stock up here. You will not have a problem getting to 12 items. Your problem may be choosing JUST 12. They have all the selection of their normal sliced breads, plus 2 lighter calorie options (the loaves are skinnier), a baguette, hamburger buns, and the sweet Sin Dawg cinnamon roll-​up bread.
Once the zombie Apocalypse happens, I will be prepared with a full freezer of Dave’s Killer Bread… that I got on the cheap.

Best bread on the planet. Cracked Wheat and Blues Bread are my faves and I’m addicted to the Sin Dawg. I need to get out to the factory soon and check it out but DKB has the market cornered on bread.
