They have an amazing lunch special, giant slices to order + salad, breadsticks, and drink. $ 7.50 Additionally, they obviously take care of their community, sponsoring so many elementary schools and sports teams. Well done Flying Pie Pizzeria.

Just ok… pretty expensive and not impressed with the quality in ingredients. I honestly would rather just order Pizza Hut or dominos… and I’m a foody so that’s saying a lot!

This place is known to every Lake O high school kid and parent. Amazing, Amazing Amazing pizza. Different than any you have tried. Toppings are piled high on fresh tossed crust. The atmosphere is awesome with lots of things to look at and games to play. You can watch the pizza crust being hand tossed, sauced and loaded with toppings. Great salad bar. A must for any Lake Oswego family.

We came to try Flying Pie’s stuffed pizzas, you know, «Chicago Style». This pizza is not quite Chicago Style. It is actually just like Papa Murphy’s stuffed pizza, only nicer coming from their pizza oven, and not my piece of junk oven at home. We added fresh garlic and Italian spices which I feel should have just come with it. I imagine that without it, the pizza would have been very close to flavorless as pizzas go. Now, they put roasted red peppers on top of the thick layer of mozzarella that can be picked off if desired. For me, the roasted peppers made the pizza come together. I was more than happy to have my dinning companions pick theirs off and slide them on to my slice. This place is kid friendly and can hold large groups. The guys working the kitchen(within plain view) seem like a feisty group, I was mildly entertained by their antics. Another pizza place I would not go out of my way for, but I have no complaints and wouldn’t steer anyone away. A few arcade games, wrap your leftover pizza up yourself, and you are good to go.

Went on a Wednesday at about 7:30pm not many patrons and the phone wasn’t ringing that much either. The blonde girl took our order for take out. We ordered a small pizza with black olives $ 11.45 plus $ 1.20 for the topping and a cheese calzone with onions $ 9.25 plus $.80 for the onions. She charged me for a specialty calzone and OVERCHARGEDMEBY $ 2.20. I didn’t notice til I was already home. The pizza was burnt. The calzone was burnt and soggy. Filled with raw onions. The guy making the pizza was cussing about the phone ringing and people coming in. He was slamming things around throwing a tantrum. Pros– None I could find. Cons– CHECKTHEBILL. CHECKTHEFOOD. We keep going back, this must be good sign! Had the stuffed pizza Neopolis — it was«the best pizza ever» says wifey, better than the Stromboli. Alright! Cheesy, great toppings inside — super service by the fun staff. Nice to bring my family for a local eat.

The BEST pizza you will find anywhere. But make SURE you get it with their special garlic and Italian spice blend. Prices are higher than elsewhere but you truly get your money’s worth!

Ate here a couple days ago and we called in our order to go and they said it would be done in 30mins. when we arrived it was not done the staff served three customers before us that came in after us. We waited 35 – 30 mins for it to be ready. It was a lot of toppings which was good but the crust was thin really thin and the place was dirty and needed to be deep cleaned.

Their logo should be a good indicator of their style – faux Italian and every cliché to go with it. This location is very dated, which, I suppose, for some, could make it feel«authentic». Old school all the way – 70s/80s style wooden chairs, old tables, black-&-white vinyl check flooring, walls crowded with framed photos of local kids sports teams, 80s stand-up video games in the lobby, white icicle christmas tree lights dripping off the plate glass windows in July. In fact, I worked at a place like this back in the 80s; all it’s missing is a salad bar with a sneeze shield. Hubby ordered a large half pepperoni and sausage(his), half veggie on thin crust(mine). It was just unimpressive. Forgettable sauce on a bland crust weighed down(read: soggy) with way too much topping. I didn’t make it through one full slice; it was just so disappointing. I’ll admit that I like my pizza on the light side, and I’m not a fan of tomato based sauce. If a boatload of toppings equates«value» to you then this pizza might be to your liking but I’ll stick with Pizzicato. Pros: Polite staff. Off-street parking. Decent turn time for take out on a weekend night. Fresh sliced tomatoes were added after baking(the only way to do it). Cons: Somewhat sketch location on Hwy 99 admist the odd retail and endless car lots. Very dated restaurant interior. Bland crust, blah sauce, toppings appeared to be part fresh, part canned. Pretty spendy for a disappointing pizza, especially for the area.

This pie is ENORMOUS! The fresh ingredients are pretty much spot on. Ordered a medium pie, looks like I’ll be having lunch on it for a week — could only down two slices. The 10 Barrel IPA is the perfect accomplice to this wonderful pie! The bride had a «Guido» sandwich. She was only able to eat a half of his behemoth, and told me twice how good it was. We will be back, without a doubt. 5 star pizza, and dip sandwich made in heaven! Thanks guys!

This is one of the better Pizza’s you’ll get anywhere. I got one for pickup while in town on business — half pepperoni /half Hawaiian. It was everything I could hope for! To start, the crust was perfectly golden brown with just a few spots bordering on brown. The toppings were perfectly and generously distributed. The pepperoni was perfectly cooked, curling up slightly at the edges, but not crispy looking and over done. The crust is perfect to grab on to, and the pie stays together nicely even though it’s loaded with toppings. The first bite — and the last– revealed a crust the had a nice crispy bite and and wonderfully chewy finish. The sauce is robust, and each and every ingredient was on-point. If you want pizza and you are in the area, Flying Pie is a must!

WORLDSBESTPIZZA! I come from 6 hours away just to eat here! It’s so delicious. Flavorful and leaves you wanting more! The staff are equally awesome, the atmosphere is great. I take many out of town guests from here and they all love it too! Never been disappointed. I also love the reward system that allows you to eat yourself to free pizza and $ 10+ off your purchases, free sodas, etc! And you can buy individual breadsticks for .25 each!

Their pizza was very good. They are heavy handed with the toppings and are prompt with service. I’d go back

Called in a pick up order, showed up at the time of pick up. Let them know what I ordered and the name with the order. Restaraunt definitely wasnt busy… Waited for my order to be called out sitting in the chairs with a view directly into the kitchen, watching really nothing going on back there. tick tock tick tock, the girl working the register walked by me 10 times. Tick tock tick tock, 20 minutes later, finally one of the cooks came out and asked me what I was waiting for. I said a calzone. He walked into the kitchen pulled out a box from a shelf with a calzone in it and brought it to me. How long had my order been sitting there? While I was sitting there waiting, and waiting and waiting. Calzone was meh… and with the terrible service I will not be spending anymore of my money at this restaraunt.

This deserves no! Stars! My girlfriend and I stopped in to get a 14 in. pie and we were not greeted warmly. When we were finally ready to order and someone came to help us they were less than thrilled to be taking our order. After half an hour we received the pie and we couldnt tell where each individual slice started. The cheese literally fell off the crust. When we took this abomination of a pizza and put it into our mouth the feeling of dissapoint spread and depression sank in! We will never reccomend or go back to the flying pie. Ps gave it to my dog and he wouldn’t eat it.

Pricey, but it’s totally worth it. They put an insane amount of toppings on it. I had one slice and was full. The veggies are fresh and cooked perfectly, and the sausage is freaking amazing.

MIlwaukie Pizza? This is option A and B! I was so happy when Flying Pie opened in Milwaukie. We really needed it. The other places in town to grab a pie are less than stellar, and you certainly wouldn’t get the same classic pizza place experience like you do here. It’s becoming rare these days to have an old fashioned pizza parlor where you and the family would go, or you and the team would celebrate the end of soccer season. Hey look, everyone gets a trophy! We’re all winners right, ha! While there could be some improvements here, I’m still a fan. The pizza is generally thick and hearty, with fresh sauces, cheese, and toppings. Also some really nice calzones. Great beer options, some rotating taps, and wine options as well. You can still get pitchers of soda for the kids. The menu is pretty standard pizza fare, so don’t go looking for your trendy wood fired prosciutto and broccolini pie with truffle oil that you drop $ 40 on. You are in Milwaukie. While we’re at it, you can leave your leather jacket and iron pressed jeans at home too. Negatives? The gluten free crust isn’t quite up to snuff, and the veggie pie option is limited. The dining area could use better cleaning and a nicer bathroom, or this would easily be a 4 star for me. Give this place a go though. The other pizza options in town have got nothing on this place, and you get a good value pizza the reminds you of being a kid. That’s kind of nice these days, when everywhere just wants you to grow up!

Finally found a great pizza!!! Since moving here from the bay area CA I’ve been searching for a pizza like Frankie Johnnie & Luigi’s. This is it!!! I’m sooo excited to have found this place. I’m a pizza junkie, I get pizza at least once a week. I search out pizza on every trip or vacation I take. I have my own pizza insulation bag I bring when I take pizza to go. I had a hunch it was going to be awesome when I watched my pizza being made.(Combo 2) First they hand knead the dough, then roll it out and then hand toss it in the air. Followed by a thick chunky sauce. Then 2 huge handfuls of real fresh grated mozzarella. Then salami, pepperoni a huge pile of mushrooms and onions. Topped off with a solid layer of Italian sausage spices, garlic and parmesan. 2 ½ to 3″ thick before hitting the oven. ½ way through cooking they pull it from the oven and flip the sausage so it cooks both sides.(Really!) After 25 long minutes it emerges!!! Looked and smelled amazing! Thank you!!!

Ever since I moved to Hawaii, all I can think about is all the Portland food I miss. Flying Pie, you will always have a piece of my heart. Including the clogged arteries you surely have provided me over the years. I could sure go for a Presto Primo with soy cheese right about now. Also love the sub sandwiches, the Italian sub with extra dressing is to die for(maybe I should stop with the heart attack puns…)
