Advanced Carpet Restoration

Mark responded quickly and disinfected/​cleaned my carpet with no fuss. My wife is happy!

Our rental house in Eagan had some «problems» after the tenant left due to a dog. The carpet in the living area had a horrible odor and we were sure it was pet urine. The carpet looked fine and was less than a year old. We opted to have it professionally cleaned by Advanced Carpet Restoration. The estimate was a bit higher than what the home improvement store quoted but I wanted to make sure we got the best people to do this job — I didn’t want to mess around and maybe not get the job done correctly. I’m happy with my decision, because Advanced did a great job. They did what they advertised, they were courteous and professional, and of course the proof is in the results: you can’t smell any odors in the carpet. Good as new. So I recommend these guys highly.

Thanks Mark and Team for doing our office. After have such a good experience, I had ACR come and clean our office floors that had been much neglected. Amazing the difference it made. I really did not think our office smelled but the difference after getting the carpets cleaned was amazing.

Their standard fee is really only a trip charge. He will up sell you hard and if you refuse the extra $ 100 then he simply blasts through your house and leaves. Doesn’t move furniture or anything. Leaves it wet. Company should be called «Advanced Carpet Soaking». Why is there no zero star?

We made the mistake of putting down off-​white carpet in our home. It looked really nice but got dirty fast. My wife and I called advance carpet restoration because we were having a party at our home and were getting a little embarrassed about the carpet. We have both a dog and a cat too.
We received a coupon in the mail from Advanced Carpet Restoration and called them. The price was really good compared to the other services we looked at. The results were great. Our carpet was close to looking brand new. We recommend them.

One of my friends had used them in the past and highly recommended them. They were prompt, courteous and did an excellent job for us. We had some pet issues that we had tried to take care of ourselves with no success and they took care of them quickly and easily. I was also surprised at how reasonable their pricing was.
Over all great experience, we will definitely use them in the future.

We recently bought a new house, and instead of replacing all of the old carpet we decided to have them professionally cleaned and restored. Advanced Carpet Restoration did a really good job. The carpet looks brand new. The technicians were very professional and friendly. I would use them again.

Called them regarding advertisement for 2 rooms and hall for $ 49.95. I set up the appointment and they advised there is a carry-​up fee of $ 20. This fee is because I live on an upper floor. I advised there is an elevator. They still said the fee could be charged or not, depending on what the technician thought. In addition there is a $ 5 per room additional charge for berber carpeting (in other words, this fee is charged unless you have a flat, cheap rug for carpeting). The $ 49.95 advertised price would actually be $ 84.95 before tax and before who know what other fees they’d throw in there.

We saw an ad for this company that showed the BBB stamp and advertised cleaning as well as restretching. Since we needed both, we gave them a call.
They informed us that there was a $ 25 fee for the re-​stretching estimate. We realize it’s costly to do estimates and can understand, so agreed. They take the $ 25 off your total if you choose them.
So, the estimate was $ 260 — which seemed high, but the guy claimed that he could do it right then, and my husband agreed. In retrospect, we should have taken the quote and done some comparisons. The loss of the $ 25 would have been smaller than what we really lost.
After the re-​stretch was done, we both felt that the quote had been too high. We had Home Depot doing some carpet install in another area, and asked them what they would charge for the re-​stretch. They quoted $ 130!
We both felt we’d been taken advantage of, and my husband called the company to complain. The owner wasn’t it, so he left a message for him. Rather than call us back, he forwarded the complaint back to the re-​stretcher — who refused to do anything for us.
Frustrated, I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau on ¹¹⁄₁₃. There was no response until today. Check this out:
«This complaint is silly. We tell people about the estimate fee BEFORE an appointment is set. If they had a problem with the estimate fee they should‘nt have made the appointment, much less had the work done. They also could have just kept the estimate and checked around with other places. These people are owed nothing and I consider the matter closed.»
If you’re looking for good customer service, I’d look elsewhere!
