Grandma was laid up here for a while after a nasty fall fractured a vertebrae in her neck(yikes). Everything was clean and the staff were all very friendly. They put up with my grandmother, which is pretty much a ringing endorsement. They had no hesitations communicating clearly and effectively with the family – and we knew where grandma was in her progress with PT every step of the way. It was great to be able to pretty much come and go as we pleased(if it’s «after hours» you can be buzzed in with no hassle) and to visit as long as we liked. Now in Minnesota this isn’t that unusual – but in other states visiting hours can be restricted. What grandma really liked: they have a state-of-the-art walk-in spa/bath thing with massage jets. Man, she used to talk about that ALL the time. She actually made everyone go look at it whenever we would visit. She didn’t like the food – but take that with a grain of salt. Or, rather, a nice bland lack thereof.

The boyfriend had a relative in the Ambassador Good Samaritan Center recently for rehab after a broken bone. We went to visit a few times, and were really wowed by the staff and the facility as a whole. Our visitee was in the part of the building that was called ‘the new addition,’ though it didn’t scream«I’M THENEWPARTOFTHEBUILDING, GUYS!»(insofar as, the rest of the building must be fairly new, or they did a great job of blending the décor/equipment throughout) Every staff member we came in contact with was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. This is very comforting when a loved one is rehabbing from a fairly serious accident. It’s nice to know that our family member was in good hands. The person in rehab had nothing but glowing things to say about the staff as well — which is a great recommendation in and of itself! If you’re ever unsure of where to send a loved one for rehab after a bad fall, consider Ambassador Good Samaritan. They will take good care of you and yours.
