Arise is a wonderful bookstore with a small, but fantastic, collection of books, zines, and really awesome patches. Based on what Lacey P. said, I’m psyched to hear the Women’s Book Project is based out of here, and having supported them with the purchase of a few zines.

Ooohh shop here! A collectively run awesome radical bookstore with zines, patches, posters, CDs, books, magazines, Slingshot organizers, cards, t-​shirts, etc. Also a lot of info about what’s going on that’s cool and in the summer they have movies on their patio! Once I went to a dating game here. They sometimes have awesome bands play. The Women’s Prison Book Project is housed here, sending books to women in prison. Also, the Icarus Project shows films and holds meetings here. I love spending my money here so they can survive! Love it.
