Description

Specialties

We sell gently used men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, belts, etc. We also have gently used collectibles, housewares, linens, art, and furniture, which are all in excellent condition.

History

Established in 1992.

The thrift shop was started to fund the programs of Assistance League of Minneapolis/St. Paul. In the north Minneapolis and St. Paul public schools, we uniform 4,000 kids per year, we work on literacy with students in pre-school to third grade, we send backpacks filled with food home to about 80 families per week, and we give small grants to teachers for special projects. We also celebrate GED graduates with a reception twice per year. And lastly, we pack clothing for assault victims and distribute these via the MN Hospital Association throughout the state of Minnesota.
