Bed Bath & Beyond

Just because I was in the Southtown ‘hood of stores, I decided to swing into B, B,&B to see what seeds I could plant for future purchases. While in the store, I kept track of how many employees greeted me (since I made mention of it in my first review on this location).
I was greeted 5 times!
They get the greeting reward!
2 of the 5 said hello and smiled.
Another 2 of the 5 said hello, asked me how I was, an and asked if I needed help finding anything.
And the 5^th person said goodnight and thanked me for stopping in.
I didn’t even make any purchases tonight… which is why I like going to this store; they take the time out of their tasks to acknowledge a customer like stores used to! Bravo!

I am so happy with my experience at this store a few days ago. My return situation was unique, I thought, and they didn’t need to accommodate me as they did, but they went above and beyond anything I could have imagined.
I had bought a coffee maker for my daughter in college in late November. It came with some of the T-​cups that it uses, and my daughter was thrilled until she found out that she could not find those T-​cups anywhere once she was done with what she had. That particular machine also does not make a reusable filter. Bummer for my poor college daughter. We thought we were out of luck until I was in for a different purchase a week ago, and in chatting with a sales associate, I found out I could return it even if we didn’t have the box any more. I went in a few days ago and was able to pick out a Krupps machine and filter! My daughter was thrilled and so was I. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. I will definitely sing the praises for this store and recommend it to others. They will also get my business because of their wonderful customer service.

Great selection of products. The space is a bit cramped and the floor staff is very non-​personable. The cashier staff however are very friendly and helpful

I always appreciate a place that is nice and helpful, and this is it. As an example (and why I’m gushing now), I bought a Keurig Mini as a gift for my sister’s birthday. I schlepped it all the way to Washington DC and was so excited for her to open it. When she set it up, the variety K-​cup pack wasn’t inside. Rather than making me return it, they offered to set aside a variety pack for me. Thanks ladies who helped me on the phone, you were nice and pleasant and made me very happy! I’ll pick up the variety pack and send it on its way… as soon as I’m over this flu.

I love this store but I hate it, too. I have a weakness for gadgets, and especially kitchen gadgets. This store has so much stuff that I could spend hours browsing. However I can never find anything when I’m looking for a specific item. I don’t understand the layout so I either do my shopping online and have them hold the items for me or else I have to ask an employee for help. Lucky for me that their employees are nice and know where everything is.

Most of the time I find what I need and will be in and out, in no time. But when I went to register there for my up and coming wedding. I had to stand in line just to find out that I had to walk to the back of the store the get set up with the price gun. The lady in the back was vary helpful and the rest of the employee there went out of their way to make sure that if we need help we know where to find them.
They really do have some of the best stuff if you are having a wedding. But the best part is, you don’t need a receipt to bring your items back, and there is no time limit for the returns. so despite the ruff start I would still give them 3 stars.

I kinda hate this place. mostly because my father in law reps all the stuff and the smell gets to me. But its nice to give as a gift, its nice stuff and most people like it. It is a little overpriced for alot of stuff you can get at target but it fits a nich market and they love to mail me stuff all the time =)

Have you ever got those coupons in the mail and have sworn you would use them, but always throw them out because you never end up going welcome to my world…
we decided to finally go, but, alas, we had no coupon. went to their website and got one just for signing up. take that postmaster!
i’d never been. Per visited a very long time ago in Chicago. there is a ton of stuff. we didn’t need anything except for a couple of pillows. they suited out need. we left happy.
i’ll be back, but not for a while. these Big-​Box places depress me.
