great place for gifts, for pocket calendars for the new year, earrings and kid stuff

Bibelot is one of my go to spots for unique gifts and Minnesota specific products. They have a variety of items for your kitchen„ home décor, jewelry, cards, and other knick knacks. Once, I came here specifically looking for a Minnesota shaped cookie cutter and found exactly what I needed. If you are into local Minnesota made, shaped, and themed items, check this place out. The prices can be a steep for some of the items but you can absolutely find something in the mix at any price range. On my most recent visit, I found a Minnesota coffee cup that I had been trying to find for a while. Success!

When we enter a shop that has incense burning we will just know they will have some unique items and a large variety although not a shelf full of hundreds of the same thing. Tea, gift cards, small kitchen items Keep exploring there are also some small chocolate boxes. Beware the prices are somewhat over the top on certain items so have a plan of what you are looking for and search around for a better value within the store. This is a great place to get carried away and wince when they ring up the sale, ‘Did I buy all that?” You could just while away some time and browse. This store has actually downsized compared to when they were around the corner on E. Hennepin now occupied by a Noodles restaurant.

Perfect spot if you are looking for a cool little gift for someone. This boutique has a large array of knick knacks that are both interesting and cool. Think Patina but not as girly. The store is divided into themed sections so it’s easier to shop for people based on their personal style or preferences. I like the line of cook books they curate for customers, seems to be something for everyone.
I’ve picked up really random things ranging from key chains to cookbooks to scarves. It’s cool to see some of the more novelty items they carry –pretty entertaining. They also will wrap your purchase for free if you are picking something up last minute. There’s meter parking right next to the building and it’s usually not an issue to find.

Bibelot is a solid choice for a gift shop. The location is super convenient for me as I work nearby. However, it would probably be a bit out of the way for others.
The gift options are plentiful and reasonably priced. Most options are also more useful, instead of the completely random (although incredibly adorable) stuff that populates many other gift shops
I was really waffling between 3 and 4 stars on this one. On the one hand, when the back popped off my locket (purchase here) they were very helpful and fixed the locket for free. On the other hand, the employees here have a history of being very cold, and one time very rude.
So all in all, let’s just say it’s A-​Ok.

Fantastic place to go for gift shopping or if you want something fun for yourself. Not to pricey compared to other similar gift shops. Great if you want to get a lot of little cool gifts. I especially love getting things for friends and family out of state. They get pretty excited when they get a green box from me. They have fabulous free gift boxes and different color ribbons and they make it look like I paid to have it wrapped.
Unlike other reviewers, I love that they don’t bug you while you’re shopping. This is definitely a browsers’ paradise and you shouldn’t need help wondering. If you are looking for something specific, ask! They let me use a coupon I didn’t have on me at the time and again, they wrap it up beautifully, so I give 5 stars on service.
I think there’s something for everyone here and for every age. Their card selection is also fantastic.

This place could easily consume an entire day– okay, half a day. I have found a couple of things for myself here but typically I’m looking for gifts when I venture to this part of town.
Personally, there are a couple other places that are more suitable to my personal taste. But Bibelot is probably ideal for more crafty people. The do have a lot of really great seasonal items/​décor that would probably appeal to most people.
Also, I love that when I come in here, the staff asks if I need help finding anything but they don’t follow me around. That really pleases me!

I tend to write updates for places and give the same star review, but I hope the reviews are genuinely updated.
Anyway, I came in recently to buy gifts for my crafty friend and I was blown away by the selection. I didn’t want to leave, and I could’ve easily spent a couple hundred dollars on myself and my friends. The store is in a «new location»; it’s the same building but the shop shifted over a suite. Maybe the new location brought new gift ideas, but it was fantastic. I don’t agree with Danielle E. however; the items in the store were more hip than a middle-​aged suburban house mom (I’m 24 and live in the city and loved most of the stuff). Every 2 inches I found something that either I wanted or could buy as a gift, so I think that is really saying something for the selection. I hope they keep it up, because I’ll be in there come holiday season. Just typing about it makes me wish I would’ve went in today. I thought about it, but didn’t want to spend a bunch of money because I just got paid.
Maybe after the holiday season approaches and I give it another go I’ll update to a 5 star. The only thing right now keeping me from upgrading the new shop is again the customer service. I was in there for a good 25 – 35 minutes perusing items and no one ever asked me if I needed any help. This is definitely the place that has so many items that it might be helpful to tell them what I’m looking for and they may be able to point out some neat ideas. Also, when I walked in, the ladies behind the desk stopped what they were doing, looked at me for a good 3 – 5 seconds (seems short but just try it. awkward.) and then kept doing what they were doing. I said Hi to them first. That’s weird. So. same general feeling from the last review. Sorry Bibelot ladies. I’m sure you’re very nice people but please work on your customer service.

I didn’t have a bad shopping experience here, but this place definitely isn’t my style. I walked in as I was perusing the Northeast area after a hair appointment, but everything felt so «middle-​aged suburban house mom.» I guess that’s not really a bad thing and I did find a little batman grow in water toy for my nephew, and they sell Thymes candles so maybe I’m being a little hard on them.
I didn’t notice their customer service ladies that much — I wouldn’t call them friendly, but they weren’t rude.
I won’t stop in again, but I am sure there is a place for Bibelot in the area, it just not a place for me!

I went in tonight to score the few things that were left from the Christmas clearance. I generally like this store — always interesting finds. The prices are high, so I usually just shop for really special occasions (and try not to miss the Christmas clearance, of course).
It’s too bad that the girls working there clearly do not want to be there. The two ringing me out tonight were not careful at all with the class votives I bought and made no attempt to engage me except to say, «this sale is final.» I’ll probably try other Bibelot locations from now on. How disappointing — I thought customer service was making a comeback.

Bibelot is a neat gift shop. You’ll find the basics like candles, lotions, jewelry, etc. and they also carry seasonal accessories when you need ‘em. There’s a selection of locally-​made, minnesota-​themed things as well as quirky household goods and books.
Most of the merchandise is priced slightly above average so if you are looking for a gift, it wouldn’t hurt to shop around.
I’d probably spend more time here (and like it more) if the women that worked there were friendly. That… and I’m ALWAYS watched when I come in here wearing something casual like jeans and a sweatshirt. I’m sure stores like that have to deal with their fair share of shoplifting but it makes me feel like I can’t comfortably browse without seeming «suspicious».

Thanks to Bibelot, my house smells uh-​mazing. I could buy out their supply of yummy-​smelling, locally made, natural candles. They have a little bit of everything at Bibelot, miscellany that will make your house feel like a home, from colorful sponges and Minnesota-​wood cutting boards to Christmas ornaments and bath + body products. It’s great for gifts (for someone else or for yourself!), and the staff is really helpful. If they don’t have something at that particular store, they’ll search the other stores to help you find what you’re looking for. And the MPR Member Connect discount makes it even more rewarding to shop here! This particular location is a little tight in terms of space; sometimes it feels like a sea of inventory stuffed into a small space. Every once in a while, I find myself wishing they’d go for a little more depth and a little less breadth in their products, but as soon as I think that I find something perfect that I wouldn’t have thought to buy had I not seen it here. So… I guess their retail strategy works! I just can’t stay away :)

Bibelot always is my place for cute gifts, but there’s just something about this one… it’s just too spread out, I think. All the merch is mostly on shelving that you have to weave through (each is somewhat themed and things are grouped with their logical partners) and they look like they’re trying to cover the most ground with not enough stuff… And for whatever reason, I felt like the staff was giving me the evil eye. Not that they really were, but I just felt weird when they kind of gawked at me and then resumed talking about rubbish…
That said, if I need more Worker B stuff, this is a nice stop since it is conveniently located, but I like the one in St. Anthony much more.

This store is so much fun to look around in! There are so many doodads, whosits and whatsits galore that I can spend literally an hour in here and have a handful of items to buy. I’ve compiled presents for two different friends here that I know they won’t get from anyone else. I love the ability of uniqueness! While the prices are kind of expensive (as they are similar to a small town nicknack shop), you just have to choose the few items that really speak to you and then go back for more another time like I did:)

5 stars for cool loot, –2 stars for uncool help. Just stopped in for a few Mother’s Day gifts and managed to find two cards… not exactly what I needed but they are glittery (which is fun). There was one other customer and three staff members, who totally ignored me while I lingered at the jewelry counter. At one point I tried to make eye contact with one sales person and she actually put her head down and passed me… all I wanted was to see a necklace! At checkout the sales person quickly rang me up and walked away before I could really ask anything. Bust. Good news is that I still had enough time on my meter to grab a pizza at Punch!

Correction: Headlamps for $ 7.50. The memory of purchasing my first was so rosy that I convinced myself it was cheaper than it actually was. But I was back in yesterday to buy a card and they are in fact $ 7.50. STILL! What a steal.

I totally love the Bibelot, if only for the sheer fact that every time I go I get lulled into a shopping-​trance and spend waaaay more time and money than I ever anticipated. And I hate shopping, but there is just something about this place.
I went there recently to get ideas for a birthday gift. I am by nature a terrible gift giver, but I found great gifts with minimal effort.
The birthday girl received a box with a cupcake bath bomb, relaxing eye mask, and Dr. Suess-​isms for a stress-​free life. Hello, instant theme!
I am headed back tomorrow for a bachelorette party gift. I’m sure I will have no problem finding fun and adventurous trinkets.
One nice special touch is that they do basic wrapping for free. I forget about the Bibelot and usually opt for gifts from Target, but they really have fun items and it adds a much more personal touch to your presents.

Bibelot has a few shops around the cities. This shop is full of cute, gifty items. If you are looking for a gift for a woman that is hard to shop for, then go to Bibelot. It has a wide range of gifts in a wide range of prices. Find a great gift for $ 10 or $ 50! I find something new I want every time I go in…

Ooooooohhhhh this store is so irresistable to me. I’ve been to both the Northeast location and the Linden Hills location and love them both. They have the cutest selection of holiday décor and really adorable kids stuff. If you are looking for a neat gift for a family member or friend or just want to treat yourself to something special this is your place!

oooohhhhh… just stopped by for a quick visit and walked out with some Ecojot notebooks. Have you guys seen these? They are eco (duh) and have really cool retro designs on them. bought one just so i could frame the cover of it when i’m through with it… seriously.
just another reason I love this store. cool stuff that you could live without but would rather not.
