Found this food truck on Marquette downtown. I was pretty excited because they had legit bbq offerings, ribs, brisket, coleslaw, mac and cheese etc. It seemed to be a no frills bbq joint. I had brisket and mac n’cheese. The mac n’ cheese was pretty standard but I was disappointed with the bland brisket. It was solid grey with no hint of smoke, either visually or by taste. It seemed as if they’d just tossed a brisket in a crockpot and called it good. For the price (12 bucks) I expected more.
The service was fast and friendly, they seem to have potential so maybe I’ll give them another shot and try a different cut of meat and hopefully adjust my review.
