A complete Italian deli specializing in fresh, housemade egg pasta to cook at home, homemade sauces, imported cheeses, meats, olives, antipasti and condimenti. Broders also has an array of prepared food ranging from antipasti to desserts, New York-style pizza, hoagies, cooked-to-order pasta dishes and deli salads, all made with high quality, locally-sourced, farm-fresh ingredients.
History
Established in 1982.
Following studies in Bologna, Molly and Tom Broder started the ‘cucina’ to provide fresh egg pasta and the best ingredients for fine Italian cooking to the Twin Cities community. With the popularity of our cooking, the ‘cucina’ gradually evolved to include prepared food to eat in or, mostly, to take out. Our commitment to the Italian philosophy of quality of ingredients, simplicity in recipes and conviviality at the table has never wavered. In 2008, founder, Tom Broder, passed away and is sorely missed by family and community. However, a second generation of Broders’ is involved and taking over the company with a renewed commitment to our customers, local sourcing of ingredients and Italian values. Broders’ Cucina Italiana has never been better than it is today.
