History

Established in 2011.

Colleen LaSota and Christian Doten moved their acupuncture and personal training businesses from New York City to Minneapolis in March 2011. The goal was to open a space where the patients, clients and students receive the combination of services and the personal attention needed for real and lasting results. Since opening the doors of Four Gates they have been honored to watch so many personal transformations, and have really enjoyed sharing the fun with everyone who shows up to practice.

Trampolines, skateboarding, soccer, playing music, swimming in the ocean, — we have been blessed to grow up with an abundance of movement in our lives. As a result we are lovers of life who flourish when we move and when we feel our energy in motion.

On our paths we have learned again and again that everything is connected. Our studies open our minds and our experiences teach us our lessons, make the knowledge palpable…

Christian Doten: ACE certified personal trainer, Kettlebell Concepts certified trainer, advanced personal training certificate and associates degree in massage therapy and postural/structural assessment from the Swedish Institute of Health Sciences, certified yoga instructor.

Colleen LaSota: Masters of Science degree from Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City, certified yoga instructor, constantly studying Rochelle Scheick’s Qoya method which she applies to her prenatal classes and amazing Ladies Jam class.
