My cat woke me up at 1:30 yesterday morning as he was chasing around a sewer rat that had gotten into my bedroom. Needless to say, I screamed and then spent the next four and a half hours trying to get it out of the house using various elaborate chasing and catching techniques.
We called the lovely folks at Falls Creek at about 3:00 and the owner answered. I’m pretty sure we woke him up, but he personally drove the hour-​long drive to our house and by 4:00 he was at our doorstep with net and trap in hand. He barged into the master bedroom where we’d managed to trap the rat and caught the sucker in ten minutes flat. I was hugely impressed and wildly grateful.
Hurrah for Falls Creek! Though I hope I’m never in a situation where I have to give you a call again, I won’t hesitate to if that unhappy event occurs.
