If you need a towing service or car repair in the twin cities, Galeana’s Towing is the place to go! I had a stalled car at St Louis Park today, and Rafael helped me out. He got to the place within half an hour after the phone, very friendly and helpful! He knows what he is doing and he even volunteered to check my car out. Highly recommended!

This family-​run business is fantastic. They always answer their phone (note they’re not open on Sunday’s, but call anyway and they’ll get back to you right away!), prompt, friendly, professional and competitively priced. Save their # in your phone! When you need your car towed in the Twin Cities, that’s the number to call.

I chose this company based on the Unilocal rating (didn’t look at the reviews at the time). These guys were awesome! Had a bit of an issue getting my card run through the machine but after that it was fantastic. They came and picked me up, dropped my car at my mechanic’s garage and helped me practice Spanish all at the same time. Warm, friendly yet professional. Price was reasonable, especially in comparison to Bobby & Steve’s. Would totally call them again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This is the nicest towing service I’ve ever known. My car was broken down on Penn and Olsen Memorial, I Unilocaled for towing service, and Galeana’s came highly recommended. So I called, a very pleasant man answered the phone, and all I had to do was text my location. He arrived within 15 minutes later. After he dropped my car off, I didn’t have any cash so he drove me to the nearest ATM so I could pay him. If this didn’t top it all off, he hand delivered my receipt to my front door that same evening! Anyway, I highly recommend Galeana’s should you need to get your vehicle somewhere.

Galeana’s has always been good to us. We live down the street on 39^th and without fail Galeana’s is always willing to help us out. Their rates are reasonable, they will tell you what’s wrong, show you what needs to be done, and get it done in a timely manner. No gimmicks, and they don’t try to con you into fixing things that don’t need to be fixed. These guys are honest, dependable, and trustworthy. I am a Galeana’s customer for LIFE!

Towing arrived and gently pulled my car out of a snowdrift almost before i put down the phone. Now i’m sure i’ll try Galeana’s car repair, too!

Look, if I could give more than 5 stars for Rafael and his crew, I would. I live right down the street from his shop and he has helped me at a moments notice on many occasions. My neighbor first recommended him several years ago and I have appreciated it ever since. I once went next door to Clyde’s Auto for a quote on new front axle ends and was quoted MORE than DOUBLE with a much longer wait time. I would and have recommended Galeana’s to many friends and family and they all love him too! Brakes, car not starting, axle ends, new starter, exhaust system… I have an older car and those are some of the things he has fixed perfectly, quickly and at a very fair cost. He runs his business in a very old school, neighborly way. Can’t praise this shop enough!

I first met the owner of Galeanas when the hitch fell off my food trailer. Really. I had a box with wheels and Rafael was able to tow that sucker back to his shop and then line me up with somebody to tow it back to the manufacturer. If you need a tow, I’d choose him over Dukes on Lake Street; that is my opinion.
This dude is true blue, and I have taken my cars to him ever since. He and his mechanics work hard to get the job done on time, even if it means overtime. This was appreciated the week my schedule was already disrupted by the hospitalization of a family member.
The price is always on target here. Today he fixed my windshield washer free of charge. In a big city, it feels like, and is, a local friendly business. While English is not Rafael’s first language, I’ve never had a problem communicating with him. Give him a shot and I think you’ll be happy you did.

Galeana’s is a Mexican owned auto mechanic shop located literally next to Clydes Auto Service on 38^th Street. I got frustrated with Clydes, not because of poor service or lack of inexperience, but because they charge outrageous prices for their service. One day my car broke down a block away so I decided to try Galeana’s, knowing full well Clydes would have taken my pocket book to the cleaners. Instead of getting their tow truck, they got the whole family, everyone from their 5 year old to their grandpa, to push my car to their shop. They could have charged me, but they didn’t. An hour later my car was running perfectly and was charged less then I had expected. I’ve been taking my car there ever since. Don’t worry about any language barriers, they can speak both Espanol and English.
