I brought my poor iPhone 5 with a smashed screen to Gophermods after reading great reviews here and elsewhere. These guys are very professional and my phone with its brand new screen was ready when promised, all at a reasonable price. All work was explained and tested after the repair. They have a one year warranty on their repairs. I shopped around and called/​emailed other places first, but these are the people you should see if you need a new phone screen. Highly recommended!

The only place in town that would repair the cracked screen on my Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+. They did it in about an hour and it works perfectly. This is about as good as it gets!

I brought my laptop to Gophermods because they repair laptops Most businesses under computer/​phone repair really only work on phones. If they are willing to work on a laptop they don’t sound at all sure of themselves, worried that they may have to «take it apart» (which would cost more) to diagnose it. I am not technologically adept but I was pretty sure that it was going to have to be taken apart to be repaired (I dropped it and ½ the screen was fuzzy and blinked). They also gave out high estimates (my PC only cost $ 350 new so) I couldn’t see spending $ 300 or more to repair it.
Gophermods was confident and knowledgeable from the get-​go. Their estimate was ½ of the others. Customer service was fantastic. They diagnosed it by turning it on. Took it apart to find the part number and put it back together in 10 minutes. A couple of days later the part was in and a few hours and $ 175 later my laptop was fully functional.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!

These guys are great. GREAT. GREAT. GREAT. Honest, helpful, and explanatory, and all under two hours. At&T told me the phone was old and should be replaced (iPhone 5) — I took it here and they checked for every possible flaw and found it just needed a new battery. This replacement cost less than ¹⁄₁₀^th of a new phone and is as good as new. Couldn’t be happier with the service or advice. Thank you!

I went to Gophermods to have my daughter’s iPhone screen replaced after it had already been replaced by another company previously and it was coming loose AGAIN and I didn’t want to deal with them anymore. Arrived on a Saturday morning, they were very nice and told me it would take one hour, 30 minutes later I got a call and was told it was done. They went through all of the phone operations to confirm everything worked, and they told me there were a number of missing screws inside (from the other bozos) and that they took care of it. Explained the one-​year warranty, were very polite and professional. I had heard good things and am glad we went to them this time. Thanks Gophermods!

My Surface Pro tablet screen was destroyed in an accident. After shopping all my options for repair, I felt the $ 200 option with Gophermods to be my best bet. The $ includes shipping both ways and a one yr warranty. While I am fairly handy with fixing things myself, I worried that after investing close to $ 100 in parts, tool, shipping, that one screw up and I’m out that money.
I paid online after reading positive reviews. I received a shipping label and sent the tablet in. I received an email from GMod acknowledging they received it. I received another email 3 days later when it was repaired and shipped back.
So far, the tablet is functioning perfectly and I’m very happy with the quick service and hassle-​free process.

I’ve had a couple different interactions with Gophermods (3 times for the same service) and its been an inconsistent experience.
TL;DR: In short, while most of the people at Gophermods seem to mean well and (in general) are very polite, I’ve had to return 3 times due to issues with 1 service I purchased which is super inconvenient, and now i’m finding out that they wont honor the warranty which I happen to believe was breached due to their own neglect. Because I can’t prove that, I’m going to have to keep using my damaged phone, patch the corners with tape and hope the screen doesnt pop out again!
1) I shattered my iphone 5c screen, and took it to them to get it replaced. They replaced the screen. Service was steller and quick. The intake guy and the guy who brought out my phone when I went to pick it up were both professional and courteous and they ran through some checks to show the phone was working properly.
HOWEVER, about a week later the home button was behaving erratically so I had to take it back.
2) When I brought the phone back the guy who fixed it was again, very courteous and apologetic. I waited for 30 min, got the issue resolved and went on my way. However, I noticed that the glass edges of the screen were very slightly «raised above» the edge of the hard plastic body of of the phone. When I typed (texted) the screen would depress ever so slightly.
As time went on, the screen became more and more «loose,» Finally today, the home button completely stopped working and I had to return to Gophermods AGAIN.
3) The guy who helped me today took my phone apart and told me the internal screws (that held the screen to the phone) had been sheared off by some impact (i.e. a fall), therefore my and my warranty was void and I could not get a new screen and woudl need to pop this one back in and hope for the best.
i’m pretty sure the screws didnt shear off due to impact because 1) i have a cover that covers the corners of the phone as well as an impact resistent cover over the screen itself. THere is no real damage to the body of the phone and such damage would likely show on the body of the phone if it sheared off the inside screws.

Very very bad experience with my PS3 service here. First of all, they advertise themselves for 24 hour turnaround for the device going to repair once they receive the product. «As soon as we receive your console it takes us 24 hours to repair your PS3 console. This does not include weekends and holidays.» I called them to make sure that was the case after I placed the order. I was told yes and once they receive it, it will take within 24 hours to get it done. I called them again after they have received the products for 3 days and asked them the status of my PS3. Was told its gonna take another week before the technician even looked at my PS3 because there were orders ahead of mine. Wait a sec, I called you guys right away to confirm the 24 hour time of repair after I told you my order number over the phone and that’s what you guys said on your page. Is this the way you guys conduct your business? The guy I talked to over the phone was not helpful at all and kinda rude to me. He told me if I want, they can return my product and have to charge me a 29.99 handling and shipping fee. I paid extra 20 dollars for the UPS fragile packaging to get it shipped there. Aren’t you guys supposed to reimburse that cost back to me if I were going to cancel the order? If I knew this is the way you guys doing business, no way I would ever send my products here for repair.

Over the past several years, we’ve had 4 smartphones serviced at GopherMods, all with excellent results. About 2 years ago they replaced the batteries (on 2-​year old iPhones) and their performance went back to long life, and they just did the same in August & October with our now 2-​year old replacements. And in one particular situation, they fairly diagnosed and repaired a problem with my headphones port perfectly for a modest price ($ 39), while Apple had told me I had to get a replacement phone (granted, it was a 2 ½ year old iPhone not on AppleCare, but still!) Excellent professional company.

Satisfied with their professional and fair approach. Dropped my Moto X, and took it to gophermods. They put a new screen on. It looked good, but a few hours later the phone went dark and wouldn’t respond. Seemed like a case where it could have been a latent problem from the drop, or it could have been caused by the repair work. Well, I brought it back, they took a look, and gave me two totally fair options: either try a new battery, or put the cracked screen back on with a full refund. I didn’t even have to ask: they offered the full refund. I’m impressed that they gave me options and let me make an informed choice. The repair didn’t work out this time, but I’d go back next time.

I have never experienced such terrible service and lack of transparency in my 35 years. I’ve worked in customer service and do not have unrealistic expectations.
Long story short they have had my laptop for nearly 7 weeks. I was promised 2 weeks.
Every call I make (they don’t proactively reach out, ever) I get a different story. Blame for the delay and lack of information is blamed on an «executive in the company who is very busy and the only one who knows how to do this repair is out of town» or «the system doesn’t have any information so I’m trying to piece it together for you» or «the part never showed up so we need to order it from somewhere else.» Nothing other than excuses.
I was finally told part is in (Friday), come in for 30 minutes and wait. More than 75 minutes later I’m told the part doesn’t fit.
In fairness I’ve had them replace iPhone screens before and they’ve done a nice job. However, a screen is a commodity (world of wireless does the same thing at the same price) and customer service and integrity are not. We have 15+ Apple devices in our family and will never come back. Nor will I recommend friends or family ever come here.
Tyler at the front desk is the only person making an effort to «service» customers.

Their waiting area is a dump and reminds me of a college dorm room. However, their service and professionalism deserves 20 stars. I brought my iPhone 6 in with a cracked screen at 530pm and was in and out in exactly 1 hour. The price was the same as the Apple Store but without the headache of waiting for an appointment. Andrew was my intake guy. Nice dude. When I went to pick the phone up a different guy went through a whole list of system checks to ensure everything was in working order. Again, VERY professional. And thorough. Solid work all around and I would not hesitate to recommend these young tech nerds. They are awesome and my phone looks like new again. Support them and shop local!

Great job replacing my iphone screen. Fast, accurate and friendly service. Their facility is neat and clean and the technician gave me a good explanation of the process and how long the job would take. I highly recommend them.

Speedy service. I broke my iPhone’s screen and tried these guys out. Price was the same as the repair at the Apple Store.
Biggest difference? I would have to wait 5 days for a reservation at the Genius Bar for a repair (for the first available opening at the 5 in the metro.
Here– I dropped in with my phone at about 1:40pm and they told me the repair would for sure be done same-​day, and likely 90 minutes. Less than one hour I had a brand new screen on my phone.
If I’m clumsy enough to break my phone again, this is where I will return.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the service was awesome! My phone was fixed in a couple days and saved me from needing to buy a whole new phone because of a cracked screen. Thanks, you guys are great!

This is my second time going to Gophermods and this place is awesome! They took a look at a phone that I had received from a family member that wasn’t working. The charging port was broken. When they started to do the replacement they were able to see it had water damage. They called me to tell me this and so we didn’t go ahead with the repair. Throughout the whole process, their customer service was fantastic! They explained everything very clearly, had quick turnaround, and didn’t charge me anything for the work they did on the phone. If you ever aren’t sure what is wrong with your phone, definitely have Gophermods check it out.
I took a previous phone to another repair shop for a screen replacement to try to save money once and it ended up falling apart in less than a year. Gophermods is definitely worth the price!

I highly recommended gophermods for iphone screen repairs. Just waited for 30 – 45 mins and got my iphone screen replaced and it’s now looking brand new!

after posting my complaint I received a call from gophermods (within 5 mins so I am assume they do pay attention to «yelp» and social media” they were very prompt regarding my issue and did a great job re-​fixing my console… kudos to the.
My console stopped working and I sent it gophermods for repair. they fixed it and it works, but they did not put the blue screw back in and they damage my console. I had to go into my system to put the hard drive in, since it’s missing the screw. I didn’t like the fact that my system wasn’t checked properly before sending it back to me, and I wasn’t notified they damaged my system.

Fast service, great result. Shattered the glass screen on my iPhone 6, brought it to these guys and they fixed it like new in an hour, no problems whatever.
Definitely would recommend them.

Have been here twice for a cracked iPhone screen and am pretty impressed. Very friendly helpful staff. Both times my phone was fixed in about an hour for about $ 100. After couldn’t even tell the difference! Would definitely recommend.

I was at a loss when my PS3 disc drive stopped working. Luckily I found Gophermods! These guys know what they’re doing. Their prices are fair, their customer care and service as welcoming, and they offer a warranty on all products they work on. Note that the warranty is only exclusive to the specific work that they’ve done, not to the product as a whole (like my PS3 disc drive). If your having trouble with your system, or any other electronic device, go to these guys.
One negative about their communication: they give you a date their work will be done, but may not notify you that it is done. Be sure to have the date on hand and contact them in case this happens. I surmise that they get swamped at work and forget to send the email. A negative yes, but their work speaks for itself.

I can’t believe I haven’t left a review of this place already. Today I stopped in to get my daughter’s iPhone screen replaced for the 2^nd time even though she SWEARS she didn’t drop it again. Oh well… for $ 79.00 and an hour of my time it’s hard to get too upset.
This is my 4^th trip to Gopher Mods. 2 iphone screen replacements and twice to replace screens on LG smartphones. Each time the service has been exceptional. iPhones were done in an hour both times. The first LG screen replacement was done within 24 hours as quoted but the 2^nd time they didn’t actually have the replacement screen in place as they first thought so it took an extra day. They gave me a discount and shipped it overnight to my hotel as I was on the road.
Today I also dropped off an older iPod touch for a screen replacement. When I dropped the phone and the iPod off they said they’d have the phone ready in a hour but iPods usually take a day so they were going to ship it to me. When I returned an hour later to get the phone they already had the iPod ready as well.
Very impressed with the people, the service and the prices and I recommend them to everyone with phone problems.

Apple can’t replace screens for their phones… or maybe won’t since they’d rather charge you full price for a new phone… but Gopher Mods is out there to save the day (and about $ 400 after my stupidity).
Called, they are ordering the part I need and will call when I can swing by to have it swapped out. The mailing option also looks super easy. Very happy with the help I got.
