Much needed woman’s clothing outpost outside of staid Edina. Some of the more interesting clothes in Minneapolis.

I never get dressed up to shop and this day was no exception. I literally came from working out and stopped by because I’ve heard good things. The girl that worked there was insanely helpful and sweet! She showed me this amazing sweater that she just dropped the price on and then asked if I had ever tried«Stella McCartney Adidas»…so now I’m obsessed with that line. Great. I love when high end places have a very sweet vibe and don’t act like a museum. A for sure stop if you’re in the north loop.

I love that Minneapolis is getting to be the place where you can shop at beautiful, high-end boutiques in a chic area after grabbing mimosas and brunch with friends. A handful of years ago, you’d be hard pressed to find this anywhere in the city, and nowadays these shops are popping up all over, which I am really happy about since it gives Minneapolis a big-city feel. I’ve shopped at Grethen House in Edina and the gh2 store in NE, and was surprised to see this new addition to the Warehouse District while dining next door at Moose & Sadies. I love their beautiful store design– it feels like you’re instantly transported to an adorable boutique in Chelsea, NY or San Francisco. The clothing is beautiful and very well-made although incredibly overpriced. The price point not only makes me cringe because I’d never spend $ 500 on a tank top, but also because I hope that the Warehouse District doesn’t lose it’s awesome young professional vibe and become yuppy-ville. That being said, I still give them 5 stars because I like what they’re about and I’ve always had an exceptional experience at all of their stores. If you’re looking for to spend under $ 500, check out their sister store in NE(not far away) — gh2.
