Highpointe Preschool and Child Care is an all day experience that provides children with a foundation for future success in school. Our program addresses all areas of growth: social, emotional, physical, and academic.

We provide developmentally appropriate early childhood education for children between the ages of 16 months and five years old.

Our curriculum is based on a child-​centered program. The child’s interests are tapped and used to move our activities for the day, week, month and even the year. It emerges from discussions the group has about questions or topics. The teachers will guide the children’s discussions to help decide what is most important. There is time to revisit topics in large and small groups to deepen the interest and define where the topic should go next. There is time for work in centers around the classroom as well as outdoor play. The children will have opportunities to explore their world in a variety of ways.
