History

Established in 2009.

J. Lydia Bridal was started by Jessica Lydia Skilar when she relocated to Minneapolis from Duluth in 2012.

Jessica Lydia Skilar has been doing bridal hair and makeup for over 13 years. She has been doing On-​Site bridal and special occasion hair for over twelve years and has built her reputation as a bridal stylist during that time.

Jessica works behind the chair in Southwest Minneapolis at Pixie Salon when she isn’t working on site.

J. Lydia Bridal was established to promote Jessica’s passionate focus on weddings and other formal occasion hair and makeup. Jessica and her Amazing team love doing Up-​dos and makeup and can’t wait to make you look absolutely breathtaking on your special day!

Jessica has made a career for herself as a hair stylist and makeup artist for over 12 years. She has found her focus on special occasion hair and makeup. She has become known in Duluth, MN as well as the surrounding areas for her expertise in Bridal clientelle.

Currently, Jessica resides in Minneapolis, where, she has found her niche in on-​site Bridal and Special Occasion Hair and Makeup.

Jessica has been doing on-​site bridal and special occasion hair and makeup, as well as volunteering for community events, such as plays, fashion shows, and community fundraisers and still works behind the chair at her salon in Duluth.

J. Lydia Bridal was launched by Jessica Lydia Myshack as a Minneapolis extension of J. Lydia Salon, her salon in Duluth, MN.
