History
Established in 1991.
Kablooe Design® emerged as a product development company that was «exploding with new ideas.» Over the first 10 years, Kablooe shifted its focus to primarily medical devices and scoured the nation looking for the best and the brightest designers and engineers to put together a top-notch, world-class staff to provide the best possible product design and development results. The idea was simple: find the best possible people and give them the freedom to use their talents. By 2008 Kablooe’s customer portfolio was approximately 85% medical devices. This was an important achievement for Kablooe President, Tom KraMer, as his passion revolved around using product design as a tool to improve the lives of others. Kablooe has now streamlined the medical device development process using the internally developed D3 Process to help its customers save time and money.

Business Owner
Tom KraMer has implemented countless improvements at Kablooe Design that have strategically directed the company to its established position as a highly respected leader in the design industry. Selected to guide the company as president in 2004, KraMer cultivated loyal client relationships and leveraged involvement with several intellectual property opportunities. He holds an Executive Certificate in the Master of Product Development at Northwestern University, and an undergraduate degree in Industrial Design from MCAD. KraMer also holds a certificate from Stanford University for the Cardiovascular System in Health and Disease. He is an active volunteer at local schools, youth groups, and sports organizations, residing in Minnesota with his wife and 5 children. Mr. KraMer is also a sought after speaker, traveling as a lecturer and speaking about innovation and the product development process.
