They are no longer at the Lynn Ave location. Their phone is disconnected. Done in by the internet I imagine.

Maps! Maps! That was the cry from the shotgun seat as we arrived at my wife and I’s mapping destination. A buddy of mine told me about a present he got his dad that enjoyed traveling. It was a nice map of the U.S. mounted on styrofoam. Then he got his dad some pins to mark everywhere he has been too. I thought it was a fantastic idea since we love to travel. We entered the small family owned brick and mortar store I have passed by a million times on my way to Lake Calhoun, but my friend told me where it was, kind of tucked away in a place that looks like a small office building. There were tons of maps and globes everywhere, but not too cluttered. There was some prep area in the back and a small office adjoining the retail space. We spoke with the lady and we decided on a laminated map that wasn’t too huge, but large enough to show off the distances between cities. They had all sorts of maps, raised relief, fishing places, obscure countries, I love this kind of stuff! For about $ 40 we got a slick map, some small placement pins, and a memory tablet of our travels. It looks great above our mantle. Cool place.
