I love this lunch spot. I have filled up over 2 punch cards. The Rachel Panini is probably my favorite, but there is nothing wrong with a good Nicoise salad if you’re trying to be healthy or crème brulee if you’re in the mood for something sweet. The paninis are fantastic — it’s the perfect amount of food without the feeling of needing to take a nap at your desk afterwards. The quiche is also good — wish it wasn’t warmed up in the microwave but it still tastes good. Prices are good. I never spend a fortune here. The owner is really nice as well.

I just discovered this place in the skyway this week and I’ve already visited here twice(it’s Tuesday today). Fresh ingredients, crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside bread. I haven’t tried anything other than the paninis but the salads and quiches look equally as delicious. Do yourself a favor and stop in for lunch.

Great paninis. Best skyway spot. I hit it 2 – 3 times a week. Also great soups and salads.

I’ve been here 5 times(I know the exact count as they have a punch card program) since I discovered it over the summer. I have never left disappointed with what I ordered. The Italian baguette is fantastic. The owner(I’m assuming the French guy working there) is very nice and patient when I’ve noticed newbies figuring out what they want. Where else can you get crème brûlée in the skyway? Prices are also very competitive with other sandwich shops nearby.

This might be one of my new favorite skyway haunts… I’ve been here three times now in a little over a week and a half. Their paninis are excellent; the bread is the perfect ratio of chewy: crispy:soft after it’s been toasted. The fact that you can get a full size sandwich and a side salad for under $ 9 is phenomenal, and the ingredients are always fresh. Today I branched out and got a spinach & goat cheese quiche, which also comes with a generous amount of salad and a small slice of baguette. Despite being warmed in a microwave, the quiche crust was still super flaky. I haven’t tried their desserts yet, but I know that day is coming soon. Maybe once my punch card is full and I’ve earned a free sandwich :)

My new favorite skyway lunch place – good enough to regularly keep me from wandering out onto Marquette in search of a food truck lunch. Love their soups, salads and quiches so much that I haven’t moved on to the sandwiches yet. They look good too. Macarons are really tasty if you need just a little bit of sweet.

I’ve been a long time frequenter of the Maison Darras in St. Paul. When I found out that the owners opened up a second location in Minneapolis, I was ESTATIC! Located in the Baker Building, this is the perfect place to grab a quick, economical lunch that make your tastebuds crave for more. My all time favorite, tomato, fresh mozzerella and proscutio panini, is always grilled to perfection and put into an easy take out bag so this busy girl can eat it on the go. I also love their quiche/salad combo. The quiche lorraine or the goat cheese spinach quiche is done to perfection with the flakiest crust ever. And the best part? their desserts. I like to stop by and pick up some of their bakery items for my team. Chocolate chip cookies that are better than what mom make top the list but their brownies and pumpkin bars are awesome too. But the crème brûlée is my favorite. I held off trying it until this week and now I’m hooked.
