I have checked this out a few times for home and gardening materials. The first time was this Spring. I am a huge home and gardening fan. I have been pleased with my experiences here. I think I have found the place I will most frequent for my home and gardening items. The home and gardening materials are of high quality. They are higher priced than the average place, but the materials are much more durable and higher quality. Therefore, I feel this is worth spending the extra money here. Whatever the employees are doing to make this happen, they are doing everything right. I hope they keep doing them. I have always felt comfortable while walking around here. The employees do a fantastic job at keeping everything organized. Therefore, I am able to find most of everything that I am looking for easily. The employees there are always friendly and helpful at any questions I may have. They are good at carrying a good conversation on their slow times. They all seem knowledgeable at home and gardening topics, which I think makes them at much better at their jobs. The number one aspect about this business is Jared. Of all the home and gardening places I have visited in my life, Jared is the best employee of all of them who I have encountered. He is always happy to go out of his way to please his customers, no matter what. His personality, friendliness, approach, and knowledge make the place run like it does. If anybody there ever got rid of him, they would be idiots. Considering the high quality of this place, I will continue coming here for my home and gardening needs. I know I will continue having wonderful experiences here.

With MotherEarth Gardens so nearby, there are few reasons to frequent this uninspired spot. While they are friendly, their staff is not at all knowledgable. I have also purchased plants that performed poorly or were carrying bugs, much to my yard and wallet’s detriment. No matter how I pleaded, they would not refund. After 13yrs in the neighborhood they have worn out their welcome in my yard.

It’s not often that I’ve had such a good neighborhood nursery in the seven cities where we’ve lived over the last 20 years. In the spring, they had a very nice selection of annuals that were in excellent condition. The salesperson spent a fair amount of time helping me assemble an eclectic but harmonious collection of plants in the colors that I wanted for our large window boxes. Their pumpkins in the fall were beautiful and quite a few of them had some character to them so it was the next best thing to going out to a pumpkin patch. Also, they are good about asking if you need help to your car and load the heavier dirt or mulch bags directly into your vehicle. In short, if you live within a 3 to 5 mile radius, it is well-worth a stop to see if they have what you want before heading out to a larger nursery.

This is a relatively small garden center in our neighborhood. Staff are generally knowledgeable and helpful. During peak season, there is often a master gardener on duty. Although they occasionally run out of stock at the peak of the season, they seem to anticipate their customers’ needs fairly well. Plant prices are high compared to Home Depot and similar places, but quality is better. Seeds and fertilizer are over-priced, but no more so than their nearby competitor, Mother Earth Gardens. They are well-organized and work hard to get customers checked out quickly at the peak of the season. Recommended.
