Nicollet-Lake Self Serve Car Wash

I would give this place a zero stars if it would let me! Horrible horrible horrible, do not go, do not go, do not go!!!

Do not go to this car wash. It is filthy and much of the equipment doesn’t work at all or is faulty.
The first vacuum I pulled my car up to didn’t have any nozel at the end of the tube. So I moved to a different vacuum and although it had a nozel and the suction worked fine, the hose was not long enough to reach the far side of my car.
Next, the guy in the stall I was in line to pull in to next came out and asked me to back up. He said he had put $ 4 in and the wash didn’t work. He was frustrated and wanted to leave, but the exit door for that stall didn’t work so he needed me to back up so he could back out through the entrance door.
Hearing that, I moved to a different line.
I pulled in to the wash and the issues continued. One of the clamps that are mounted on the wall to fasten your floor mats to was missing so I couldn’t wash them all. I had to put 2 of them on the filthy floor to spray them off. And finally, the hose didn’t work when set on ‘Rinse’ so I had to use the ‘Wax’ setting to get the soap off of my car.
Total dump. Too bad the owner doesn’t care about the place because it’s a great location. I recommend avoiding this place — it’s just not worth it.

I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS CARWASH!!! If I could give this place 0 Stars I would. The cycles on both the vacuum and wash are so short that you can’t get your car cleaned or vacuumed in just one cycle. After vacuuming my car I pulled into the bay in front of me. For some reason it wouldn’t accept my quarters and just kept spitting them out. So I backed my car up to the station behind me and same thing happened. So I backed my car up again and tried the bay next to me. Same thing happened. By this time I was so frustrated I just walked through all the bays until I found a wet one that had recently been used. I moved my car to that one. I put my quarters in and started to wash my car. However, it was hard to wash my car with NO SOAP!!! I tried all the different settings and waited a while to flush the hose, but no soap. At that point my car was half wet and my time had time had run out. I went to put a $ 10 bill in the change machine only for it to spit my money back out. I kept trying and eventually on about my 20^th try it gave me my quarters. I rewet my car and dried it off. Terrible experience, and I didn’t even get my car washed! Worthless!

STAY AWAY, save your money. Save yourself the gas driving there too or just flush your money down the toilet. After dropping $ 6 in tokens just to SOAP my car b/​c the cycles are so short, I put a $ 10 into the change machine and got ZERO quarters. It ate my $ 10 bill. I tried calling the phone # posted, it only rang for 5 minutes, no answer, I gave up. With no more quarters and no bills left smaller than $ 20, I had no option but to leave. $ 16 I paid them and I left with a soapy car. NEVER AGAIN.

I was desperate for a car wash and hit up this place because my normal car wash was closed for painting. As I began to vaccum my car I felt very unsafe. I noticed several men staring and eventually one came close to me and gave me an evil stare down. Not a «sexual» look but a «you don’t belong here» look. As a young woman I immediately felt threatened and threw my vaccum down and hopped in my car a took off. I would not reccommend this place! Not safe!!!
