Nutrition City

This place is great for what it does… nutrition. Vitamins, supplements, skin care, you name it and they got it. Prices are even better, don’t go to GNC or The Vitamin Shoppe – shop local and save $$. They also carry harder to find items in store, so if your looking for something and can’t find it, check out Nutrition City. In store is easy enough, they answer any questions you have and direct you to the right product (s). It can be intimidating when you first walk in, but they are there to direct you. Great prices and knowledgeable staff, it can’t be beat even with a club card at any of the other aforementioned stores.

If you’re a health nut, you’ve probably entertained the idea of using supplements of some kind such as vitamins, pro-​biotics, or protein shakes. As a person that regularly takes all of these mentioned boosters, I love stores like Nutrition City. This «City» is more like a small space loaded with everything imaginable. If a Vitamin J existed, I’m sure they would carry it. Want a digestive enzyme made from a guava worm living in the rainforest of Brazil? Probably have it. LOL! I’m being sensational, because they really have almost err-​thang!
Unfortunately, their greatest strength is their greatest weakness. What do I buy? Where do I go? It’s quite intimidating for a person like myself to walk in the store. During the times that I’ve visited, there wasn’t anyone manning the front. The one staff member there was chillin’ in the back, and I had to holla just to get assistance. (A bell would help.) When I finally got him to help me out, I felt that he just wanted to show off how much he knew, rather than really find ways to improve my health. Shoot, I felt like I should’ve recorded the conversation with my smart phone.
I love Nutrition City’s selection, but they could work on better assisting folks that walk into their store. Awesome selection, though!

We stopped in here because we where having trouble finding this kind of store in MSP. IN the end this place is helpful, and very well stocked (we were looking for some offbeat stuff the the regular places do not carry), and well priced. We will likely come back here, and not look else where in the future

Since starting an exercise/​nutrition program, I’ve been able to find everything I need here. Great prices on herbs, supplements, protein shake mixes, etc. Sign up for their preferred customer program, and you get discounts automatically on a lot of things.
We also get our Evolution Diet dog food for our puppy there too!

This is my go to place to get good cheap basic protein powder. I’m not a fan of artificial sweeteners or of paying too much so I love the big tubs of unflavored NOW brand whey. I also love that they don’t push silly products on me that I don’t want.
