History
Established in 1998.
The business owner, Judy Cooper Lyle, has a background in theatre, and has been producing live theatre for 40 years. Phyllis Productions manages community theatre performers to present inner city productions with historical and musical content. Five years ago, the owner added fashion & clothing design to her business, under the label Phyllis Designs. (Phyllis was the owner’s late mother) Based on several years of costume designing, with a background in apparel creation, she «married» the two elements, thus creating one-of-a-kind wearable art that have a definite «costume» feel to them. She has presented in many metropolitan fashion events, and was a guest designer at LA Fashion Week at the Hollywood Mansion in 2013.
