He goes above and beyond every visit and makes sure you’re well iced before leaving. The studio itself is extremely well-​kept, clean, sterile, and aesthetically pleasing with some great art pieces. Nick Settich is a really great guy. He is extremely warm, caring, funny, and he has a great way of making you feel welcome and is so easy to talk to. We’ve had some conversations about what was going on my life at the time, and I can tell he genuinely listens. Do you know that old saying of «You can tell your barber anything.»? This is absolutely Nick! I can’t say enough good things about him!
I’ve had 4 sessions with Nick so far. I have two tattoos that I am having him remove. One is a professional tattoo on my arm, and another is a homemade tattoo that I received when I and the person who did it were 13 years old. You can imagine the poor quality of the homemade tattoo. What I never would have been able to guess, is how much better I feel knowing that it is almost gone.
The homemade tattoo is fairly large, but not very solid, and Nick has never charged me for the removal of it since we work on my arm in the same session. It is fading so fast, and it is almost gone! If I’m lucky, it will be 100% gone after my most recent session heals, or maybe just 1 more. It all depends on how my body reacts. Even before my fourth session, I could only barely see it in the mirror!
The removal of the tattoo on my arm is showing some significant process, and fades more and more on every visit.
One thing that I greatly respected is how he had once turned me away for a session. There were a couple small points where it had not yet fully healed (I had not noticed it) and when I came in for a session, he told me to come back in a couple of months, stressing that I needed to continue to apply lotion to it on a regular basis. Nick’s goal is to make people happy with his services, even if that means he has to wait longer before he can perform them!
I readily admit that I didn’t take as good care of it as I should have. He was more than happy to remind me on the importance of it, and I’m going to be sure to follow his advisement in the future.
I think tattoos can be great, but since I’ve had two tattoos that I have not liked for so long, it will be such a great feeling when they are both gone. In time, Nick will help me get there. When my tattoos are gone, I won’t miss them.
I will absolutely miss talking with Nick.

I’ll never go anywhere else. I’ve been going to Nick since I moved to Minnesota and even before he opened up his own practice. Nick’s extremely professional, easy to talk to, and fantastic a what he does. He’ll even throw in a free vent session if you need someone to talk to about your day to day drama!

There’s really nothing I can say that hasn’t already been said a dozen times; Nick is fantastic! I went in for a consult to have my 13 year old tribal band (all the way around and a palm size piece right in the armpit) removed. Nick was so easy to talk to, super comforting, funny, seemed like I’ve known him for years. I decided to go ahead with the sessions; he let me know it would take approx 12 sessions over a course of 2 years to be completely gone. I went in tonight for my first session and yup, it hurt! But I knew it would and Nick was very patient with me with ample breaks, reminded me to breathe slowly and controlled, and tried to keep my mind off everything. He’s a great guy and I’m looking forward to working with him the next 2 years! Thanks Nick!

I was very nervous about getting my tattoo removed– specifically the pain and the cost. Nick made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. He adjusted the price for me to make it affordable and split it into manageable payments, without which I couldn’t have afforded it. The pain wasn’t so bad and Nick was gentle and patient with my fears. His pleasant chit chat helped distract me and the time he took to truly get to know me and remember things about me created a really personal experience. The clinic was clean and professional and appointments are always running on time. I would recommend it to anyone looking to get a tattoo removed. Nick Settich is a great technician. I have never felt more comfortable getting a painful procedure than with Nick. He made sure to answer all my questions and explain the process to me. I love this place and will never go anywhere else. Nick is giving me the skin I need, taking away the bad ink that I dislike and giving me a whole new outlook on my body. I cannot say enough great things about Nick. He’s great at what he does, very patient, helpful and does an amazing job. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and I have enough removals to do to keep him busy for awhile. Hands down great experience!

I would not even consider going anywhere else for laser tattoo removal. Least of all an expensive dermatology center. My first laser session was at such a place and the experience was so bad that it took me a year to work up the nerve to try again. I am so glad I found Nick. I first met him at his old employer and have followed him to his new clinic.
I echo other reviewers about the pleasantness of the space – very inviting. Nick is very professional and knowledgeable and has made my experiences the best they can be. Perhaps most important is that the laser works. The prices are very fair for the quality of the work. Oh, and you can schedule online, which is something I wish everyone offered!

it’s awful walking around with a crappy tattoo, but the idea of having a laser put to it is pretty frightening! that fear kept me holding on to a tattoo i’ve hated for almost a decade– until a friend recommended nick. im SO glad he did!
this clinic is very clean, modern and in a great location. the prices are very fair, and the level of care you receive is great!
nick is incredibly professional, knowledgeable and understanding. he also has lasered off many of his own tattoos, so he totally knows what you’re going through. i always am given a bottle of water, ice packs, and many breaks between zaps to stay comfortable. plus, he’s hilarious and fun to talk to, so the sessions are actually really enjoyable!

The atmosphere is relaxed, modern, clean, and inviting. Nick is super professional, knowledgable, experienced, and willing to answer any and all of your laser questions! The laser itself goes so much faster than at other clinics I’ve experienced, and I saw results immediately! Plus there’s a «recovery room»; it’s so nice to be able to relax and compose yourself in a private room after such a procedure.

I am so glad I started going to Renewal Laser to finish my removal. The facility is very professional, it feels almost like a holistic medical clinic with a carefully chosen artistic décor. I first saw Nick at his former employer and we built a pleasant rapport.
I wanted to book with Nick again, but found out he no longer worked at XXX in NE Minneapolis, but rather had a brand new shop all to himself in South Minneapolis. Renewal Laser Clinic, is clean, well decorated and My opinion it seems to be most sanitary conditions in the industry in the Twin Cities. I had a few consults in the Twin Cities before I decided to work with Nick.
Nick is EASY to talk to and setting up an appointment is simple. Prior to Nick having his own shop, I OFTEN had difficulty setting up an appointment (I think this is due to the unprofessional phone staff at the former shop).
Nick answers the phone and if not available he will get right back to you.
