Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center

This is a nice big park by our house. It has some hills and a rec center, some tennis courts and a basketball court and was host early this winter for an indoor «farmers» market.
We bought some micro greens and some maple syrup and some late season apples that were small and ugly but really packed a punch. He said the apple we ate was one of the parents of the Honey Crisp, and you could tell that some genius bred that ugly apple with a pretty apple to make a pretty and tasty apple. In fact, people at work were always making fun of these apples — you find that on the ground, etc. But once they ate one — bang!
The steps were icy and slippery and some old people were having a hard time with it (first snow and all) but all in all it was a great use of the space.
