Rock-it Bicycle Delivery

Just called. Some stoned idiot answered the phone with their business name. Then told me they were closed… Sounded extremely intoxicated. I wouldn’t recommend bothering unless you want to be disappointed.

HOW ARE THEY STILL IN BUSINESS!!! As an event planner, I will not order from bakeries or restaurants who use this service. I’ve had ruined cakes, cupcakes and donuts that arrive in mangled boxes. Not reliable; not professional.

Website broken, so I couldn’t place an order, but it turned out to be a good thing because they’ve now gone on my ‘Avoid at all costs’ list.
I called and was quoted a $ 10 delivery fee, which was reasonable even though the website had a lower price listed. Asked if I should call the restaurant and order and pay them directly, or if Rock It would pay and I’d pay them with a credit card, I was told either was fine. I was asked to text an order to Rock It, so I did. A few minutes later, someone called me back from a different number and quoted $ 12 for delivery plus $ 5 for paying up front. I said that wasn’t what I’d been quoted and that was a bit much and the person hung up on me. NO OTHER DELIVERY in the metro area charges a $ 17 delivery fee before tip. Even BiteSquad ‘no minimum’ delivery pretty much maxes out at $ 13.
Rock It, your customer service sucks worse than your delivery fees. I had been excited to have a service like this in the city, but the bait-​and-​switch, lack of knowledge, and outright rudeness have assured that not only will I not use your service, but I will try to make sure nobody else I know uses your service. This is not how you treat customers, especially not new customers, if you are a startup. Service is key, and you failed hard.

Love these guys — use them for the undeliverable deliverable — so great. Pro tip — don’t call them! They get lots of after hours drunk dials, so calling is not a reliable way to get in touch with them. Nick, the owner, is reliable via email, and if you’re a frequent flier, they can get you set up with an account. Rock on…

This business is such a clusterfuck that I wasn’t even *able* to place an order, through any means whatsoever.
They used to be ²⁴⁄₇ and some places still think they are, but they aren’t. The reason a lot ofpeople don’t know this is because it’s not on their site. I found it after a lot of research: they buried their new hours in a post on Twitter but couldn’t be bothered to make sure their customers could see it on the website.
Oh, and their website is broken. You can’t place an order on the form, even though that’s the whole point of it.
So I called the phone number I eventually found (which is also not clearly given), and during their new business hours. The amount of research I had to do just to get to the point where I could try to place an order is ridiculous — they hide their own business hours, their order page is broken, and they don’t even have their phone number on the home page. Am I using a delivery service or cracking a secret code?
And what did I get?
No answer. Repeatedly. Yes, it’s the right number — it said it was for Rock-​It. Still nothing, even though there is literally no other way to contact them.
Are you kidding me? How are they charging what they are? It’d be cheaper, less time consuming, and more effective to just get an Über cab instead. Seriously.
Do you guys even want business? Seriously. It seems like you’ve done everything in your power to make life as difficult as possible for your would-​be customers, and prevent them from ever being able to use your service in the first place.
This is just nonsense. You guys need to figure out this communication circus you’ve got going on.

They may be good at bicycle deliveries but, I would advise businesses not to hire them unless they are prepared to lose money. Hire a professional instead so your swindled customers don’t pack up and leave the building.

Was cooking one night and noticed that I was missing a few ingredients. Happened to remember this place and put in a quote online. It was literally for 3 ingredients like Poblano peppers and small items. Someone called me back within minutes and said he could pick the stuff up from the Cobalt Lund’s in NE Minneapolis and be at my house within minutes. AND I could pay with a credit card using a SQUARE reader. I texted the guy back and said I was not going to actually use the service that night (ended up ordering takeaway) but exceptional service. Fair pricing. I will keep these guys in my back pocket.

Simply Amazing!!! Imagine it, order it online, and magically it appears at your door step. These guys are fast, professional, and deserve a 5 star rating based on two order deliveries in the last 3 weeks. Thanks guys!!!

Seriously awesome service. Sleeping baby and can’t get out to the store? No problem. These guys will get anything from anywhere in the city and deliver it in under an hour! One more reason to not get out of my pj’s = customer for life.

This company is fantastic! You want it and they deliver. Anything, anytime. The only time they let me down is when one of their bicycle delivery guys was literally hit by a car. I wish they had this in Chicago now that I have moved back from Minneapolis! It’s anything you want, to your door, anytime you want it and their customer service, delivery staff, etc. are all extremely responsible, professional and efficient. LOVE ROCKIT DELIVERY!

These guys are amazing! Over the summer I had friends tell me to use them, Here it is winter and I broke my Right foot:(they had my beer here so fast I’m already tipsy;) The best part is that you don’t even have to call. You just text them your address, what you want and how you’d like to pay. And yay technology, they use Square so you can pay with a card just by letting them swipe it on their phone:) I never thought having a broken appendage could be so easy.

Want something undeliverable, delivered fast? Call the Rock-​It crew. They’re nuts. As in, strap-​a-​taxidermied-​deer-​head-​to-​their-​back-​and-​deliver-​it-​in-​no-​time nuts. I’ve seen pictures. I was stuck at work on Monday all alone in the office with a guy who was reupholstering the furniture all day and couldn’t leave the office with a (albeit friendly) stranger there. I have had lunch at all of the nearby restaurants so much that I couldn’t bear the thought of having that stuff again, not to mention paying them to deliver it to me. I called Rock-​It Delivery and they got my favorite Vietnamese take-​out (Quang. Go there. Better yet, order it from Rock-​It) in, I kid you not, 10 minutes.
They’ve got reasonable delivery fees, and a freaky-​fast, fun, professional crew. I look forward to being a customer of theirs again and again!

I have a broken leg right now, and I’m not super good at using crutches yet. This means that it requires an outsized amount of effort to go anywhere. Last night, I really wanted some Ben and Jerry’s, but there was no way I was going to haul my broken self to the grocery store for it. I found these guys on Unilocal,I called them and they gave me a number to text my exact order. About 25 minutes later, I got my 2 favorite flavors at my door in Seward. Magic. I’ll be calling again in the future.

AWESOME! After being sick for days and having eaten barely anything I found myself needing a Phở fix from Phở Tau Bay but without a car and unable to bike myself I gave this rad place a shout. They took my info and advised me to place an order for take-​out (Tau Bay does not deliver) under Rock-​it and within 25 minutes I had wonderful Phở arrive at my door! Six bones for the service plus tip (I tipped in homebrews).
