I get my lash extensions done with Alisha and she is top notch! Not only does she listen to exactly what I want each time I get them filled but she executes it beautifully each time– even when I am constantly changing the look I want from dramatic to natural. She is amazing, sensitive to my needs and highly recommended. I have gotten my lashes done at many places, for many prices and Alisha is by far the best price, quality and professional.

I was looking for a place to take my daughter. I called them up and asked if she could come in and they made the appointment for that same day. Oh I was so happy! Alicia did my daughter’s hair it turned out so good! She listened to what kind of cut she wanted and also suggested some of the hair cut too! We made another appointment and now I’m going to make one too.

To be fair, this rating only applies to one particular stylist here. The salon itself is fine since I’ve previously had my hair done by Alicia with an overall satisfactory experience. Kelsey, on the other hand, fell far short of my expectations.
Due to my impulsiveness and quickly growing roots, I couldn’t wait to get on Alicia’s schedule and decided to get my hair done by a different stylist some months ago. To put in short, that was the first mistake I’ve made since Kelsey F-​ed up my hair 2 times in a row ever since then. The first time she did my hair, my highlights came out really brassy blonde and I had to go back to her the next day to request for a color correction. Even after that, my roots were still pretty much uncorrected in terms of color. Parts of my hair were also colored unevenly, from roots to tips. Granted that she showed some efforts in correcting her mistakes, I decided to book her again this time since Alicia didn’t have any opening in her schedule to fit with my availabilities. Since she’s had 2 opportunities to work on my hair, I thought she’d have a head-​start on how it should be done this time.
FAIL.
I basically feel like I just relived the same experience again, in that my hair came out horribly unevenly colored. Parts of my hair at the root section STILL turned out darker than the rest of the layers, and when I pointed this out to her, she just asked «what do you want me to do about it?» Well, first, I’m a paying customer, not a teacher. If I knew how to do my own hair, why the hell would I pay anyone else to do it in the first place? Second, this isn’t the first time the same issue has happened. I might be too optimistic in thinking that she’d improve her skills by this point, but sadly, I was wayyyyyy wrong. To say the experience was disappointing would be an understatement. Needless to say, I’ll only be going to Alicia from now on.

Bought a groupon for a cut and color and had a wonderful experience. Cute little shop that has all kinds of gifts you can buy. The young lady that did my hair was very professional and made some great suggestions that have worked well. I would recommend and will go back. Prices arent going to break the bank either!

The stylists are great (though some have left) but it is difficult to get past the lack of professionalism in the salon. Some may think that it is cute & fun to have boutique items in the salon (I personally have never witnessed anyone make a purchase), but it is cluttered and the space could be used for a proper waiting area for clients, the current area barely allows a person to sit while another passes or checks in at the reception desk. It’s like an airplane aisle! Additionally, while the stylists are always friendly, I personally think that time with clients should be the priority. Too many chats happening with employees, other clients, etc. Clients are paying for service, and interruptions should only be done for urgent matters or consults with fellow stylists and clients should be checking in with the reception desk! As for the owner, I couldn’t pick her/​him out from a lineup. I’ve never met then or been introduced. Perhaps this is because they do not hold their salon in high regard. It could be so much more with the talent they have, but for now, fits perfectly as a fading flower in the background of a rundown strip mall. Sad…

Great place, I’ve been going there for 8yrs. Best hairstylist is renelyn ably konkler. She is amazing at color cuts extensions makeup updos. You name it she is your gal. The salon is very welcoming, all the staff is very nice. The owner is there everyday so things are up to a very high standard. Also they have a ton of nicknacks and jewelry, handbags scarfs, fun holiday trinkets. Great prices on all services with great results. If you are looking for a new salon or stylist this is the place and ren is your gal. Worth any drive!

I love my stylist here and get compliments on my hair cut ALL. THE. TIME.
Of course, without my fabulous head of hair as a canvas, she would be nothing. :)

The salon carries a lot of different styling product lines, offers nail services, and also is part gift shop/​boutique. Which is kind of fun while you’re waiting but I can’t say I’ve ever bought anything!

I love this little gem of a place. I recently moved to the area and needed a salon that was close by. From the area, I did not expect to find the sweetest little salon way back in a weird strip mall. In Fridley! Everytime I go to a stylist and then try and go back for a second visit, they have moved on elsewhere. Well, I was reassured that my girl would be there on my next visit and she was! The place is delightful and the stylists are knowledgeable and listen to what you want. They are also good at giving you suggestions about what will work with your hair type and what won’t, without making you feel like a total idiot for asking. Everyone is very personable and it almost feels like a friend is cutting your hair and not a pretentious Aveda queen who is all about what they want to do. (sorry for you Aveda fans, but the smell of thier hair products make me nauseous, so I’m going to pick on them. I’ll give them a break on their body products though.). All in all, it’s a sweet little place and it’s wihtin walking distance of my house, so I gave them an extra star just for that. :) Love you!
