I have been using Lorena’s mending, fixing, and altering services since 2002. Prices are on par with any other tailor shop. Swimsuits to formal dresses to jeans to jackets have always been done on time and come out wonderful!

Their new location is much nicer. Unfortunately, while the location upgraded, the service has downgraded. Prices have been hiked up from previous cost as well to cover the upgraded space + new deluge of customers.
Obviously they’re getting much more business now due to the new location where they’re more visible, as opposed to their previous location, which was quite hidden. Location, location location! That truly makes the $$$.
Unfortunately I’m priced out, and I’m very disappointed with the absentminded professor service. In the middle of checking me out, the owner takes a personal phone call and makes me wait for over 10 minutes while she figured out her personal business… meanwhile there’s 2 other customers waiting behind me too –one guy has to catch a flight!

Wonderful service!!! They really pay close attention to detail. I had my dress altered in a little over an hour because I needed it by the next day and oksanna (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) took in the sleeves because they were too wide. Also the woman at the front desk was awesome and very sweet. It looks amazing. I’ll definitely be back and id recommend this place to anyone.

Lorena is a genius! She can fix anything and has great creativity and a collaborative approach. I have been coming here for years because she truly loves style and has never let me down. Honest and sincere business person. Highly recommend.

I have to report a poor experience with this business, because 2 new suits were ruined.
1. The back/​nape of both jackets were to be shortened slightly to avoid a wrinkle just below the neck. Upon pickup, the wrinkles were even more pronounced and the owner would not fix the mistake except for additional money.
2. The seats in both pants were to be «scooped.» However, one of the pants was not.
3. The hems on both pants were to be cuffed. They were not cuffed, and the pants were too short.
I went back twice to pick up my suits, because the first time they were not completed when I arrived. I did arrive an hour and a half before the official 4pm pick up time. However the owner had only begun the work on my suits at that point, which told me the level of attention being paid to my order.
The second time I came to pick up my suits (one week later), I just grabbed my suits and left because, after 2 discussions about fixing the mistakes, I didn’t want to deal with these people any more. As a result, I didn’t notice the additional mistakes on the cuffs and seats. I have no energy to go back and forth with this business, and would rather warn others of the poor services.
I paid a total of $ 180 for simple alterations, but $ 52 of that work was completely forgotten to be done. Another $ 72 worth of work was done incorrectly, and the owner wouldn’t stand by her work.

I’ve had bad experiences with alterations. Not here! Wouldn’t bring my clothes any place else. I even mailed to her when I lived out of town.
