History

Established in 2011.

It all started after a friend and coworker went to Austin, TX this summer and came back lauding the progressive food scene, genuine people and recent paddleboarding craze. Wanting to continue the inspirational momentum given by our southernly neighbors, we immediately put our heads together in hopes of following dreams… This started as an idea and a belief that we need to experience life and relationships right where we are, right here, right now. We hope you will come to appreciate our hard work, customer focus and attention to details as we strive to offer the most unique experiences imaginable.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Austin was born and raised in the Minneapolis suburbs, and spent most of summer on the lakes, often taking yearly trips to the boundary waters. He spent 12 years on a swim team and received a financial economics degree in 2006 from a small MN college. He then traveled and worked for different investment banks in London and Singapore. It was through these experiences that he realized his calling was not going to be heard in a corporate job, and so he spent a year in Beijing recalibrating his life while teaching economics at a small University. He returned to MN in 2010 and has enjoyed getting more involved with outdoor, experiential education and local food entrepreneurs. Give him a call to find out more!
