This is my favorite Starbucks in the Twin Cities. The bartsias are always so kind and make THEBEST drinks. I also love the outdoor seating in the spring and summer time.

The drinks are delicious as always. But I am here to tell you about the cake balls… get them asap! They are delicious. Maybe too sweet for more than one, but they are so creamy and rich… I LOVETHEM. That is all.

Friendly employees, my only complaint about this specific location is the loud crowds. When big groups of people come in and enjoy their coffee they create loud noises. I wish the employees can tell them to quite down like a semi library. But I know they can’t.

Fellow 20-somethings of Uptown. Like… let’s talk about this Starbucks. You know how we swore off of the corporate mermaid when we moved to a neighborhood with more independent cafes per capita than our entire terrible hometown? Bull Run. Spyhouse. Urban Bean. All have their merits. But. If you’re at that time in your life where you just need to throw back coffee and power through job applications, or your homework, or your off-hours work project before your annual performance review… and somehow it helps to do this in the presence of other humans who will not interrupt you, in a Sherry Turkle ‘Alone Together’ way? This is the place. Consistently good coffee(always Platonic ideal xeroxed from the franchise 3-ring binder), friendly staff, clean. Location is an isosceles triangle with one long wall of windows. No undercurrent of self-aware cool to distract you from taking a hard look at your life. Playlist is straight from the tastemakers at Starbucks HQ; no barista will interrupt your flow state with an ironic Dolly Parton playlist. Try coconut milk in your coffee. Try the new flat white to feel like William Gibson. Try to improve your lot in late capitalism.

It isn’t often that I go to starbucks but since I had some gift cards, I thought why not? This particular location gets 4 stars specifically for their customer service as well as their great parking lot. They had like 4 people working but everyone was extremely friendly and were very mindful of their change in the floor plan so they kept apologizing for being in our way and for the way the café looked which I honestly didn’t mind. I was very appreciative for the friendly atmosphere, I’d definitely come back just to say hi lol. The parking lot is right out front which means it is a super close walk. And for uptown where finding a place to park is challenging, I’d say good job in designing this strip. Drinks are standard of course, bathroom is super clean but the tables could be updated? Regardless though, I’d come back.

What can I say? It’s Starbucks. The coffee is pretty good. I would normally rate Starbucks 3 or 4 stars but I had to give this location 5 stars because this one has some of the friendliest baristas of any coffee shop I’ve ever been to. That include all national chains and locally owned shops.

Always go in late at night to see that cute barista(think her name is Rhianna?). Her and some guy(Cohen?) work their behinds off to keep the store clean. Seriously, the place is spotless. And they make my iced-quad-triple-vanilla-misto-latte-frappé super great. The fake fireplace is totes warm. YOLO!

Not a huge Starbucks fan, but I must say this one is better than OK. The coffee is exactly as you’d expect from a Starbucks, but what earns them 4 stars is the friendly customer service and quiet atmosphere. It always seems like the baristas are in a good mood and the customers are in no hurry to leave. Great job Uptown Starbucks!

Located on the west side of busy, busy«espressway-like» Hennepin.(get it? eSpressway! :D) I’m pretty stinkin’ sure that I am calling this, hands-down, the best venti mocha java chip Frap that I have ever had the guilty pleasure of ordering… and yes, i went with very minimal whip. not just because I got the entire order for free, but because of the barista art that was so goin’ ON that hot, hot day of 90+F weather in MPLS… If ever you feel the need to come to ths crowded strip mall and frequent this Starbucks, do scan like a cylon raider(BG ref) for one petite barista with a becoming Russian accent… she will whip your drink into an order waaaaay beyond tall(yes, pun *so* intended!). I usually try to avoid Starbucks as I don’t really like their coffee, and the whole conglomerate thing, but the other two coffee shops nearby either closed to early or were packed. My friend and I needed to use the internet, so off to Starbucks we went. Apparently(and I didn’t know this because I never sit at Starbucks), you don’t have to pay for internet, but you have to have a registered Starbucks card with money on it in order to log into their service. It sounded like they had just changed the wifi they had been using, because I couldn’t even get online to register my new Starbucks card that I was forced to get. After much putzing around, and asking the two baristas, we couldn’t figure it out. I have to give a shout-out to Andy, one of the baristas(baristo?) for giving me a complimentary drink for my troubles. I wasn’t angry or irate and he still was willing to try to make my experience better. While I may not go back to use the internet, I will definitely make a point to go back if nothing else for the good tea selection, and the customer service.
