Milind came to inspect a few stains near my ceiling and top wall. He was very receptive to all my questions and concerns. He really took time to listen patiently and tried to answer all my questions. There was a misunderstanding on my part about what the home inspection was covering, but this was quickly cleared up by Lisa, the office staff. Both Lisa and Milind really tried to meet my needs! Milind came back to inspect my attic without charging me to double check a venting issue, which provided me with greater peace of mind. Milind was very kind and professional! His written inspection report was impressive and very detailed. It will be extremely valuable for future reference. Thanks Milind and Lisa for all your awesome help!

On short notice, Structure Tech scheduled a home inspection for a house I inherited. George inspected the house and did a thorough job explaining any issues that he found on the spot. Later I received his report which went into great detail regarding each issue and he added several photos to illustrate his recommendations.

The home inspection we had done last week was conducted by Milind and I was present for the entirety of it. He was professional, courteous, patient, knowledgeable, and thorough during the entire time he inspected this house. He began by outlining the order in which he would go through the house and he took my questions and concerns and followed up by taking a closer look at those issues. What I was most impressed with was Milind’s attitude remaining at a constant level of diligence and care as he covered the scope of the house from beginning to end. Up until the last moment before I left the house, at the end of several hours of inspection, Milind maintained the same courteous demeanor and even invited us to reach him later for questions after we receive his report. I call this «exceptional service»! The report was detailed with photos attached for better clarity on the information. Because of how thorough this inspection and its report was, I was able to have confidence that there were likely no major issues that were over-​looked. I did wind up calling Milind about a few concerns and with a gracious attitude, he answered my questions to my satisfaction

I was extremely impressed with the inspection that George did in June 2015 on a house that I am purchasing in Falcon Heights. They showed up early for the inspection and were «herding» ants that were going in and out of the front door metal threshold as I walked toward the house.
The inspection seemed to be very thorough, with everything inspected that could be checked and/​or opened. George even spotted a problem with a basement bathroom fan being ducted into a large return air duct that went to the furnace. Unpleasant smells were being defused throughout the house.
I got to go along as the inspection was conducted, and they frequently brought things they were finding to my attention … before the written report was even sent to me. Very helpful to know of problems right away when I needed a little evidence to suggest that a lower price for the house was warranted.
I have heard pretty bad stories about house inspectors. Based on my experience, you will get quality and thoroughness with Structure Tech, even though you may think the price is a bit higher. I have absolutely no qualms about recommending them highly!

Great company, great results, great customer service! I was able to work with StructureTech for two home inspections during my house hunt. They were very easy to work with and I would highly recommend them! They were easy to schedule with and were upfront about their availability. This kind of information clearly presented allows for home buyers to fully understand the information and make educated decisions about whether or not to move forward with a home purchase.

I’m buying my first home, a triplex, and was so impressed with Milind’s inspection. He was incredibly thorough and willing to answer any and all questions I had. As a first time homeowner, I don’t know what to look for or expect but his inspection and the corresponding report taught me so much about the place. I could not know less about owning a home or anything that goes into inspecting a home and Nick was really great. I’m looking to purchase my first home and he explained everything to me in plain language. He made sure that I understood what needed to be taken care of ASAP and what was less of a priority. He was really attentive, gave me a full report written and verbal. He was extremely professional and very friendly. He was open to me either coming along for the ride during the inspection or doing the whole thing on his own. They are a little pricier than other companies I looked at, but in the end they will save me hundreds due to their diligent work.

I had a fantastic experience with Structure Tech for my Truth-​In-​Housing inspection! They came very highly recommended by my selling agent. Milind was my inspector, and was extremely helpful throughout the inspection. He was open to however I wanted to run the inspection, either going along with him or he would just let me know when he found things he was going to comment on in his report. I chose to only review the things that he found, and he pointed out things he included in his report and things that he considered acceptable and passing but wanted to address with me before he left. I was very happy with the professionalism and fast response from the Structure Tech team!
The exceptional part of my experience with Structure Tech came after the buyers completed an inspection. Their inspector indicated the Truth-​In-​Housing Inspection should have caught multiple issues. I was able to have Milind come back out to my home very quickly and review all of the «issues» that were documented on the buyers inspection. Milind pointed out each of the areas and explained how they were actually conforming but how simple fixes could be put in place if the buyers had a major issue with it. He also helped to recommend fixes for other requests made by the buyers. He was a fantastic resource!

Structure Tech was recommended to me by a family member who had used them for their home inspection and we couldn’t be happier we used them. They were thorough, they explained every detail and the report we received was very helpful. In this type of business, many people will direct the feedback to a man, if present. My husband and I were both there and they equally directed feedback to both of us. I wouldn’t use anyone else for my home inspection.

I don’t have a ton of practical experience with this stuff but these guys came highly recommended based on the owner Reuben’s TV appearances. When I researched them they have a 5 out 5 rating on Google with over 100 reviews. That is insane. They’re not going to be the cheapest option but you get what you pay for and these guys are top notch. I was very impressed with my tech George and super nice guy.
I also really like that they’re technologically advanced. You can do everything online and automated. And they have links right to the reviews, which is very smart.

The most thorough, detailed home inspection I could imagine. The report was emailed to me the same day, and I could print it out. It had high quality photos of each problem area, and recommendations for fixing the problems. Definitely money well spent.

I hired Structure Tech to do an inspection of my townhouse. As a first time buyer, I had no clue what to look for.
Reuben was my inspector and he blew all of my expectations out of the water. As he inspected the interior and exterior of my home, he explained to me in detail everything he was looking at. He also carefully walked me through basic home maintenance such as changing the furnace filter or refilling the water softener. I was frantically trying to take notes and he quickly told me that I didn’t need to and that everything would be provided to me in the report.
Within hours after my inspection, he emailed me the finished report. It was complete with pictures and written in plain English — way more detailed than any notes I would’ve taken.
I had a great experience with Structure Tech and would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a home inspection!

Best-​in-​class. Those are the first words to come to mind when I talk about Structure Tech. I first heard about them through my sister-​in-​law, who employed Structure Tech for their home purchase about a year ago. After seeing rave reviews of Structure Tech here on Unilocal and on Google Reviews, I knew this was the firm to work with. It may sound like one of my relatives works there, but really, I have zero connection to the company. I just know a good thing when I see it and experience it.
Structure Tech is not trying to be the lowest cost player in the market. But really, if you’re buying such a huge asset, do you want to skimp on a bare-​bones inspection, just so you can save $ 100? Structure Tech is currently charging about $ 540 (as of summer 2014), and they are worth every penny.
Because they are best-​in-​class, make sure to schedule your home inspection with them the very minute after your purchase agreement is signed, because they are currently booked out about 3 – 5 days for home inspections. Since you have a limited window of time with which to complete your inspection, you should do your best to schedule with Structure Tech as quickly as possible.
With the heating-​up real estate market we are experiencing, home buyers are often forced to make snap judgments about whether to make an offer on a home. With so little due diligence on the front-​end (e.g. we spent about 45 minutes at a showing in Eden Prairie, then placed an offer later that night), your home inspection is absolutely critical, for it’s the time when every lump and wart of your property will be brought into the light.
You can trust Structure Tech to dive into every nook and cranny of your home-​to-​be. For my recent inspection by George at ST, I was consistently amazed at the depth of his poking, prodding, and analyzing every aspect of the home we are under contract to by.
The inspection took about 3.5 hours. As I understand it, their competitors in our market only take about 2 hours for an inspection. My realtor came about an hour through the inspection, thinking he would only be present for the final hour of the inspection. Well, seeing that things were going long, I could tell he was unaccustomed to such a thorough inspection. This was encouraging to me.
George took dozens of photos throughout his inspection, many of which were included in the final 27-​page report that was delivered as a PDF via email to me late in the evening on the same day of the inspection.
Structure Tech encourages home buyers to attend the inspection, and I can see why. George took plenty of time to explain what he was checking out, what he was finding, and also potential solutions to troublesome areas of the inspection.
Plus, he was funny and easy to get along with. It was obvious he is passionate about being a home inspector, so I knew he wasn’t just going through the motions.
Reuben Saltzman (co-​owner with Neil Saltzman, who bought the business in 1997), writes an excellent blog at the Structure Tech website, and his work has also appeared at The Star Tribune. Reuben’s insights are invaluable, and I plan to return to his work in the future, as it will help me handle some of the maintenance and repairs on my home.
ST’s inspection report has loaded me up with plenty of home projects for the months and years to come. I like knowing about every potential problem with my home, because with that knowledge, I am ready to get my home in tip-​top shape.

We hired structure Tech to do an inspection of our new house before our 1 year walkthrough. Wayne was very professional and very detail oriented. He produced a very thorough inspection report.
Even though no major problems were discovered, the inspection provided an insight into where builders cut corners to save costs and what we as home owners need to keep an eye on in the years to come.
I have had inspections done in the past where companies have charged about the same as what Structure Tech charges, but did not do as thorough job as what Structure Tech did.

My realtor, who is also a home remodeler, recommended Neil and Structure Tech for my first home inspection. Knowing that an experienced builder and remodeler wanted to wait specifically for his availability was a good sign from the start.
Neil actually brought out a new member of their team to be a part of the inspection. It was clear that the new hire was a veteran in building inspection work and knew his stuff already. They weren’t just hiring someone new to the job.
What I was most impressed with was they both walked me through the different issues they found, how serious they were, and what options I had to fix them. They were very thorough with their work and did a great job of educating as a part of the process. This is my first home purchase, so it was reassuring to have a thorough inspection, friendly advice and not someone who scoffs at your questions or lack of knowledge about certain subjects.
Lastly, their report is a detailed, but easy to follow summary of the inspection. It calls out things that need to be addressed immediately, things that can go for a little while without an immediate fix and even comes with links for ways to fix them. I received the report the same night of my inspection and was able to make a quick decision about my purchase. Overall great work.

All of the frustration trying to get the inspection scheduled was worth it. Try to be patient with scheduling, you will be rewarded for your efforts.
Neil came out to do my Buyers Inspection and was exactly what I was looking for. Neil was thorough, professional and extremely helpful. He was happy to answer my multitude of questions and clearly explained the issues he came across.

Looking for a new house and we have actually had two inspected — they did an excellent job and found many things that don’t necessarily meet the eye — don’t mind doing some work, but the first house was almost a tear down and the 2^nd we were able to get a nice price reduction based on some things found in the inspection — would highly recommend!
