Really nice find. Great atmosphere on the inside, a little noisy but not where you can’t hear your dinner companions. Just a real busy vibe. Came here with a couple of business associates on a rainy Tuesday night & there was a 15 minute wait, always the sign of a good place. They have a really good beer list with some good craft beers. We had buffalo shrimp to start. They were awesome. I had the jambalaya & my cohorts thought I was crazy eating a NOLA dish in MN& they were right. It was listed as a chef favorite & turns out it was just ok. They had a filet & the pork chop & both loved it & I had food envy. Prices are what you’d expect in an establishment of this type. If back in the area I’d go again.

Had dinner with a colleague, who is local and recommended it. It was very good and the place is nice. I had the salmon on the waiter’s recommendation and it was well prepared.

Stepped in and went straight for the bar seating. After 20 minutes of sitting and being ignored by the two bartenders I got up and left. Not even a nod or acknowledgement. Take the time to say hello at least, I get busy, but at least give some eye contact. Doubt I’ll give it another shot.

Great restaurant. Sea bass, short ribs sandwich, lobster Mac & cheese, shrimp bruschetta capellini were all really good. The pasta could use a little bit of grated Parmesan on top(I’m Italian, Parmesan on pasta is a must). Great service on a Saturday night. Server(Jon M.) was fast, funny, knowledgeable and attentive. Really enjoyed it, and would come here again.

We arrived here around 2 pm and decided to dine in out at the patio because it was a beautiful sunny day! Our server was fast, informative and nice. The food was great! I ordered the lob Mac n cheese and there was a good amount of lobster on the dish. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the tomatoes added a refreshing flavor out of every bite. She ordered the wood grilled salmon and that as well tasted amazing! Crunchy char bite from the salmon and the rice with the asparagus completed the dish. Overall, a beautiful spot to eat at especially when seated at the patio!

Good food and good service. Really liked the atmosphere as well — nice patio area for warmer months, plenty of regular dining tables, and a good bar area with bar seating and high tops. I had a burger — it was pretty good, but also nothing super special. Let’s be real, burgers are just really good anyway. I got a salad instead of fries, and the salad was good also, a step above the typical side salad. I got a soda water to drink, which I was charged for — that always strikes a nerve with me. BUT my server did provide several refills, which was appreciated. Overall, I would return — but as a heads up, I would say this place is edging more towards the $$$ area.

We had a pretty good meal here on a Wednesday night. We arrived around 6:45PM and there was a 15 minute wait. The restaurant is quite large and has very trendy décor, which makes for a nice ambiance. The menu had lots of options to suit everyone, but it seemed very pricey to me for Minnesota. Seemed a lot more like the prices I’m used to in San Francisco! I enjoyed the chili lime salad with chicken that was $ 16. I travel a lot for work and usually get a very similar salad at the cafes inside Nordstrom, and I strongly prefer Nordstrom’s version of this salad to BLVD’s. The salad was lacking a bit in the flavor department — it was pretty bland. My husband had a burger and fries which he enjoyed, but it was nothing spectacular. I imagine some of their more expensive entrees are better choices, but we weren’t trying to bust the budget with this unplanned Wednesday night meal. Our server accidentally tipped himself $ 80 instead of $ 8, but the restaurant quickly refunded our credit card and sent a generous gift card in the mail. Seems like an honest mistake. Nice reminder to always double check your credit card statement.

Had an awesome beet salad for lunch! Got there pretty early, the place ended up filling up so I’d recommend a reservation if your lunch is time sensitive, but a lot to choose from on the menu and had great service.

I found this place after a quick Unilocal search and glad I did. The restaurant is conveniently located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. The décor inside is modern and rustic and the mood is inviting. The server was friendly and attentive. As this was our first time, she offered up some of her favorite entrees which I appreciated. I got the seafood jambalaya which was hot, spicy and delicious. My coworker got the shrimp risotto with no complaints and just admiration for the large shrimp. They have an outdoor seating area but we didn’t get to enoy it as it was chilly. Definitely will try again if we’re back in the area!

I have 4 places in Minnetonka bookmarked. Since it was our first meal of the day, and we had an engagement over there this morning, it made sense to get lunch in the same zip code we were already in. We were lucky enough to arrive when it opened, cause it was almost full when we left. They offer filtered water, and leave a carafe at the table. We immediately ordered the calamari appetizer. One of the best I had and they sneakily throw in some fried veggies. It’s all on top of greens, which are also delicious because they come with dressing, not just a garnish. Basil had a shrimp pasta dish that I tried and loved. I got the side lobster mac and cheese. Beyond awesome, and there’s plenty of it. I wasn’t sure if it would be enough so I was drawn to the blue cheese lettuce wedge, smothered in dressing, and they throw in a nice sharp knife to cut it. I really appreciate that it’s a nice green chunk of iceberg lettuce. Bobby Flay and Emeril also love this type of lettuce which purists hate, so I stand by this. There are a lot of great meat dishes I look forward too. The atmosphere is beautiful. The service is superb, even the manager comes around to see if everything is okay. I like the frontage road and the big strip mall that it’s in. Glad to have finally checked this place off.

We made reservations for Valentine’s Day here and it did not disappoint! We were first timers, we rarely spend time in the Minnetonka area but heard great things about this place and decided to try something new — and am glad we did. We started off with the buffalo shrimp appetizer. These were delicious. 5 large shrimp batter fried to perfection, drenched in yummy buffalo sauce on a «bed» of ranch dressing with sprinkles of blue cheese along the plate. Delicious! I love spice, so it wasn’t that hot to me but my boyfriend, who has a harder time with spice thought they were spicy but good. We destroyed this large appetizer, making it impossible to finish our entrees but we didn’t mind! Leftovers are good with us! As for entrees, I was indecisive because everything sounded great but decided to go with the lobster Mac and cheese. Great choice! Sauce wasn’t too thick. Chopped tomatoes. Big chunks of lobster. So good! My boyfriend for the ½ rib and ½ chicken that came with fries and coleslaw. French fries were great. I tried a bit of the chicken and that was tasty! He said the ribs were okay, coming from a rib fanatic. We both could not finish our entrees because of the large appetizer but we were content with taking leftovers home. Overall, great place. Good atmosphere. It wasn’t that busy when we went(our reservations were for 3:30pm). We got our food in decent timing. Definitely would go again!

High end restaurant that serves high quality steak. They have the best omaha steak, that you would droll for a minute before eating this delicious omaha steak. They also not just have fine steak but they also have great place, ambiance was cool, you will totally love the atmosphere here. Highly attentive service and very friendly.

A nice place to have great dinner. You can actually have the best buffalo shrimp in town, it was kinda crispy and very juicy plus the added natural delicious taste of the shrimp. This one is a superstar. The chicken tenders is also one of the apple of the eyes. It has a fine smell, at first, I thought its not chicken at all. Thanks. Will surely come back.

BLVD remains one of my favorite spots in the minneapolis area. The food is very good, I have not been disappointed with anything I have ordered here. The only problem I have ever had was when they did not make my crab cakes to order(my wife is allergic to onions and I really wanted her to try these fantastic cakes). But that is the only real quibble. Yes it IS more expensive, but the food is really worth it. The calamari, is perfect. The other reason is the service: which is top notch. We always sit in Jon’s section, whom remembered us a year later! His attentiveness is truly second to none. Don’t believe me? Heres just one example: We came in on my wife’s birthday, a nice, cold mid-December evening. He noticed I was holding her hands to warm them up. Then he came by with our drinks and a hot mug of water for her to warm her hands on! The service is half of your experience, and excellence to this degree is why we will come back again and again. Go to BLVD, get some calamari, get a great cocktail, have a good time!

I’ve know about this place for years, but never have gone. After a huge shopping spree at Ridgedale, including the new Nordstrom, a man works up an appetite. So why not try out a new place? The aromas are inviting as you walk up. The host staff were friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxing and the jazz music was just right. Jon M., our server, came over immediately and got us started. More about him in a bit. Let me tell you about the food. For starters, literally, the Chef’s Choice today was butternut squash soup. I love this soup no matter what time of the year. But here, wow! This soup wants you to embarrass yourself by asking for seconds! I never would have thought to put chicken and bacon in butternut squash soup. I think of it as more of a vegetarian soup. What a delightful surprise! I’m a big sucker for Chop Salads, so I asked Jon about adding chicken and if it was grilled. He answered, «Yeah!»(Rhymes with«Duh!») He said it in a playful and respectful manner. Kind of like, no other choice. And I’m glad I ordered it that way. It totally hit the spot! While we’re not quite done talking about food, let’s talk about Jon a bit. This man is a machine. He was running(not literally) circles around everyone. I was watching him work with a sense of urgency as well as efficiency. Every manager’s dream. Every table in his section was touched by him in a reasonable amount of time, and he was genuine with every interaction. I heard him joking around with the table behind me. He helped a couple of families and one table which may have been regulars. It was almost like being in Billy Joel’s ‘Piano Man’ song. While I was working on my meal, I saw him carrying over several drinks for the table next to ours. Jon placed a glass on our table, and I thought it was because he didn’t have space at the other table. Nope. Not only did he carry over all there drinks, without a tray, he had an iced tea refill for me as well! It’s like he had an extra set of arms and hands. Before our meal, he brought out ‘Monkey Bread’, which is a cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting. I saved it for after my meal, but I couldn’t finish it all. He offered to pack it up, and I didn’t refuse. When Jon brought back my charge card, he thanked us and then shook our hands. Which server does that? I haven’t had that happen in a long time. Yesterday I consistently had horrible customer service(two of which at big box retailers). Today, I consistently outstanding customer service. I’m glad the universe has realigned again. So check out BLVD and I hope you’re lucky enough to be seated in Jon M.‘s section. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.

This is a place this is only a few minutes from the Ridgedale mall. Your GPS won’t take you exactly there but follow the delicious smells and you’ll find it. I had one of the local amber beers(sorry I don’t remember what it was called) and it was, as a coworker put it «strictly ok». The good thing is there is more than just beer. The food is excellent. We started with the buffalo shrimp and I have to say they were dy-no-mite(which means good). I strongly suggest you make this the starter to your meal even if you are by yourself. For dinner I got the BBQ ribs and chicken. The smell of goodness which was palatable lead me to this order. Was it the best BBQ I’ve had, no. Was is good BBQ, yes. I’ll be in MN a lot in the upcoming months and you can count on my return.

Cool décor and a great looking patio are the highlights for BLVD. Out of town, and looking for a good place to eat. My group got the Buffalo Shrimp which are almost the size of a fist. They’re huge, and doused in the buffalo sauce, if not too much. No idea where shrimp this size come from, and neither did our waitress. My friends got a BBQ combo, which was a huge, huge portion. Looked great. I missed out. I got a Pesto Rigatoni, one of their specials, and it was everything but special. That’s all I can say. I think the look of the place, and the patio would make for a good drink and maybe the right appetizer. I don’t know. Not much else to say!

This is a great place with great décor. Thanks to my co-worker I come here most nights when I travel to Minnesota. There’s outdoor seating and a bar, as well as cool interior bar. So many good things to mention.

BLVD has the ultimate happy hour! I’m such a fan of this place. The sign is super cute on the outside, and it’s a nice atmosphere on the inside. I’ve tried a good amount of dishes here and their food is yummy! I prefer going for happy hour because the prices can get high — plus their happy hour choices make me happy(and prices, duh!). I hear the place is packed at their happy hour from 3 – 6, so I go for their late night happy hour at 10, which is at the bar or tables. They also have it Saturday 11am-5pm which is a nice chunk of time! Some of my favorites for happy hour are the sweet potato fries, calamari, flatbreads, and the fish tacos were good too! Also, their buffalo shrimp is delicious, but 3 big ones are a whole $ 7. Get those if you don’t mind the price though! But the most odd thing is that my favorite has to be the chicken tenders! I’m not really a chicken tender person because they are usually oily and overly breaded, but I swear, this is the exact opposite! They are lightly breaded and cooked to perfection, and you get a nice proportion for only $ 4?! Geez, I would go back just for those! The food is great and the atmosphere is cool! However, it does get a little dark at night. I swear some of these restaurants go a little crazy on that light dimming… setting the mood a little too much to the point where I can barely see what I’m eating! This actually happened the last time I went — the lights dimmed down so low I could barely see my server/food and we all burst out laughing. I’m pretty sure someone knocked that dim switch or something, because they turned them back up eventually. I don’t need to see the food anyway since it’s all good. :) I gave 4 stars because I’m a fan, but their regular prices are a bit high!(Also for buffalo shrimp with the portion size in mind)
